W.B.A.

West Brom come to town for a 1.pm kick off.

I am not going to guess our line up because if you read the Advertiser and other outlets it's a bit like looking into an A and E waiting room. Is Peltier fit, will Blackett play a part,Humphreys has a niggle, Rathbone having an injection, Wiles(wont play) starting on the grass, Kelly a doubt, Eaves and Kioso a doubt etc, etc.

What about W.B.A. then? They are currently ninth in the league and five points off a play off place. They have a game in hand of fifth place Millwall. When Corberan arrived they were in the bottom two and leaking goals. They have climbed the table and are now a difficult side to score against. The last five games have seen them score only three goals and let the same amount in. Three of those games were against sides lower than us (Cardiff, Huddersfield and Wigan). Corberan likes to mix the formation up a bit between 4.2.3.1, 4.4.2 and 3.4.1.2. If Dike is fit i think they will play 4.2.3.1 with Swift the main playmaker behind the striker and Wallace and Reach the wide pair of the three. They can also play Albrighton wide. Plenty of attacking quality in there but not really firing atm.

I think we will play with Hugill only up top and try and keep it tight. This could well be the pattern of play throughout from both sides and i expect a low scoring game. I think a 0-0 or 1-1 draw would be a good return for us.

Team for W.B.A
Viktor
Harding Wright Humphreys Hjelde
Coventry
Ogbene Lindsay Fosu Ferguson
Hugill

Pretty much the team i expected. We have Rathbone, Eaves, Kelly and Oddofin on the bench so we can change it a little. I expect Rathbone will be given the last thirty minutes unless we are out of sight !!. Still take a point

looks like they feel they can score some goals today because they are playing with two strikers.

Well who expected that? Magnificent performance throughout the team. Master stroke having Ollie running up and down the touch line really got the crowd going creating a great atmosphere for the team! Wish Hugill would play like the second half trying to win the ball rather than wrestling the opposition! Onwards and upwards - if we play like that - but which Rotherham will turn up next time?

Must say that after the first quarter of an hour I remarked to my wife that we would probably play them off the park and lose 1-0, as we were so profligate in that opening start. Then when they got the penalty, I thought my prediction was going to be spot on. But we kept going, and somewhere along the line we got the right boots on the right feet, and didn't look back. WBA defence susceptible to crosses, and we profited from some good crosses for once. Throughout the game, we showed that we wanted it more, and the whole team stepped up to the mark. If we can reproduce that mentality and confidence for the last seven games, I would be confident about our staying up. But as we all know, the Millers always blow hot and cold......

We certainly do blow hot and cold Unifier. I think atm the pendulum has swung in our favour psychologically . The reason i say that is a win for Cardiff does not get them above us.. I also believe Q.P.R cannot see where a positive result is coming from.

From a team who couldn't create anything in their last few games to a team who could have won by five or six. Let us hope that we continue in the same form as Friday and we are well safe before we have to go to Wigan on the last day. Some tough games coming up, but we still have four to play at home and at times we have looked good at home. Still one of the top scores when playing at home. In our hands now. Another big injury blow to Wright but we have some cover in Blackett and of course the ever dependable Richard Wood. Two more wins will be enough. Can we get them?
