Two to go.

After two fairly abject away performances recently we should be looking to put that right to (Hopefully) set us up for more of a stress free lunch time at Gillingham at the weekend.

Think we may just get edged out due Sunderland's recent form and our recent away displays but hope i am wrong.

Think it might be a 0-0 or 1-1 draw which both teams might be relatively happy with. Should be a real nerve jangler.

What a great performance that was. We restricted Sunderland to virtually nothing. Obviously Ikkys header was a massive moment but for me just as big was the spell when we were on top with a few to go and Smith missed a big chance to seal it. Gutted for Ikky and all of them because we deserved the win but you cant ask more from them than they gave. It would prove to be a vital point. Plymouth go into Saturday knowing that they need something and the odds must be against MK winning there. In any case of we play like that at Gillingham what happens at Plymouth should be academic. Very proud of that performance. Tremendous.

Pps Thinking about it that point changes plenty. The only result that we can get on Saturday that influences anything is a win. A draw for us makes no difference whatsoever. We can just go all out to win it without worrying about what is happening at Plymouth.

Great performance tonight although internet problems meant I missed both goals!! It's going to be a nail biter on Saturday and my deepest wish would be for an early goal for us followed by that elusive second. I agree with Smiler that MK Dons will have a real battle at Plymouth and I can see that result going in our favour.

Anyway, I have my match and train tickets booked and will hopefully be celebrating the end to a fantastic season on Saturday afternoon.

Onwards and upwards.

It will be pointless looking for the Plymouth/MK game. We just have to assume MK are winning and win ourselves. No other result by us really alters anything. Gillingham have all to play for against us. Plymouth have all to play for against MK. One of Wednesday, Sunderland, Plymouth or Wycombe will miss out completely. All have got enough points to normally breeze into the playoffs. Its a tremendous end to the season. Isn't sport fantastic?

Thought we were really good for about 85 minutes till if we had dropped any deeper the players would have been up in the gods with us behind the net.

The smith chance not long before they scored was huge and one he should have buried. Thought we lost our energy and drive once Rathbone was subbed, that change should have been Wiles who looked knackered from 60 minutes onwards.

The encouraging thing was the performance level and commitment level was back to how its been for the majority of the season. Same again Saturday we give ourselves a great chance.
