ACCRINGTON - AGAIN!

February is beginning to look very much like last season's congested Covid run-in. Seven games within the shortest month! We got off to a reasonable start at Donny on Tuesday but next we face this season's nemesis - Accrington Stanley. I imagine squad rotation will be uppermost in Warney's mind and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a couple of changes tomorrow from the Doncaster line up.

Vickers needs to keep the Goalie's jersey - let's face it - he didn't need to wash it after the Donny game! But Victor was responsible for our defeat away at AS and therefore PW will no doubt keep him on the bench tomorrow. With Accrington's big, physical approach, I imagine both Wood and Ihiekwe will start with Harding on the right. This might be a good game to give Lindsey a start to add some bite to the midfield and I would leave Wiles on the bench. Difficult to imagine Chieo being dropped so I would switch Fergusson for Miller to ensure some quality balls into the box. Who to play with Smudge up front? Grigg did well at Donny but this might be the game to start with JJ. If we can get off to a flier, we might have a more comfortable afternoon.

Big chance to open a sizeable gap at the top and I hope, for once this season, we can put AS to the sword!

Onwards and upwards.

High winds forecast. This might not be one for the purists. Any win will do.

I know I said any win would do but that was ridiculous. Move on.

Absolutely exhausted after that one Smiler. Accrington just bring out the worst in us! But Dan Barlaser's volley deserved to win any game!
