v Bolton Wanderers

Belated thoughts on last Saturday's encounter at NYS.

Once we got into our stride our relentless attacks down both wings reaped a brace of goals for Smudge.

Chieodzie Ogbenie looked like he could run all day and some. Chieo ran their left full back, John ragged. The latter was

substituted in the second half. He looked knickered.

Ladapo and Wiles weren't firing on all four cylinders. Sadlier and Kayode came off the bench. The former had a late strike on

goal. His shot went well over the top off the opposition crossbar.

A quick mention for Bolton's number nine, Doyle who scored their solitary goal. He too was substituted.

Bolton's number 17 Dapo Alofayan was involved in most of the action including the smile and  kiss he blew to someone in the

family stand! He should have been booked for simulation and feigning injury. Another Jack Grealish in the making he is not!!

All in all a workmanlike performance by us. I even stayed until the very end of the match as it was so entertaining!! Bolton were

always a threat. Fortunately their late attempts on goal  were off target!!

Happy New Year!

Keep the faith.

I'm trying to keep the faith that this message board will survive and get back to what it once was. Thanks for making the effort mate.
