v Stockport County FA Cup Second Round

We  play host to Stockport County in the FA Cup second round looking to extend our unbeaten run in all competitions.

Meanwhile, National League side Stockport have gone seven games without defeat, setting up the prospect of an entertaining clash at the New York Stadium. Both an intriguing and interesting encounter. Hope it's not a damp squib. You pays your money and takes your chance.

Keep the faith.

One player to watch tonight is Stockport player, Macauley Southam-Hales who likes to go on runs down the right wing often creating

problems for opposition defenders.

Will we be able to contain Macauley Southam-Hales? Let's hope so.

Keep the faith.

Match stats

This will be Stockport's first competitive meeting with Rotherham since a 4-0 defeat away from home in 2011.

Stockport's last victory against the Millers came in February 2008, where a Tommy Rowe hattrick helped County to a 4-1 away win.

In 63 previous meetings with Rotherham in all competitions, County just about have the historical edge, with 25 wins to Rotherham's 23.

Scott Quigley has four goals in his three FA Cup appearances so far this season, and seven in his last ten appearances.

Ollie Crankshaw meanwhile, has now scored eight and assisted two in his first 12 appearances for the club.

The last time County reached the FA Cup Third Round in successive seasons came back in 2005/06 and 2006/07, with ties against

Brentford and Watford.

So, now you know.

Now we're in the draw for the third round of the FA Cup! Do we need to draw a Premier league club at this stage of the competition? There would certainly be a good pay day for us. However, reckon Rochdale would be okay at home to progress a little further.

Keep the faith
