Has football changed so much that we have to change a team that's best QPR 3-1, only reason to change is through injuries, tinkering does not bring any consintantcy.
I hate to say this but Warney seems to have favourites that let him down.
What do we mean by picks his favourites? Presumably he genuinely picks the eleven every week that he thinks gives us the best chance. Why wouldnt he? People might not agree with his selections, but suggesting he 'picks his favourites' makes it sound a bit sinister. I had high hopes for Sadlier, but before his injury he was ordinary (didnt look very fit) then he had a long layoff and although he has had limited opportunities I havent seen anything to suggest that he would add much to the starting eleven to be honest. Sometimes the players not in the team seem a better option than those who are.
What evidence do you base that upon? Wasn't that one of the gruesome twosomes theories before they got banned? Picking his mates? Never heard anything so ridiculous in all my life. You've never met Paul Warne have you.
Evidence is there he play his favorites aka players he feels will do a job. And thisnwill be his downfall Crookes needs dropping and play sadlier
HM - your first sentence probably sums up PW's approach. He picks the players he feels will do the job - which is what his job entails. They are not necessarily his favourites and I suggest he would be affronted if you suggested that he picks certain players because he 'likes' them - that really is gwru/TH territory and you're better than that!
Despite the depressing performance against Coventry, we need to maintain a sense of perspective. Most people on here suggested a minimum of 7 points from our mad compressed week. We unexpectedly gained 3 against QPR but nil against Coventry. If we beat Birmingham tomorrow, we are still on track and will be hot on Derby's heals. The remaining 6 games will be against better footballing sides - ie, the ones that we tend to play better against.
Our survival is in our hands, and you can guarantee that no-one will be trying harder than PW and the players to maintain our Championship status. And just remember, if we do survive, it will be against everyone's expectations and will be a major achievement!
The problem with arguments like 'he picks those he likes ' is that it isn't an argument at all.
So, one really has to go a little deeper to be convincing.
As I suggested, can you please name his favourites in some kind of order , and also why he likes them ( they cook good rhubarb crumble for example) , and do you also know why he has left some of his favourites out at times.
I do also wonder, how from a meagre squad , he can possibly demonstrate otherwise.
So, is it just sadlier that convinces those of the conspiratorial type that PW is a double agent, hell bent on crucifying RUFC and his career and those of his players.

Hi glenmiller i take your.point. but when he leaves himself.open to comments like this. Some.of the players look jaded so if has issues trusting other players , and some.posters have commented on the loans.
Now two reasons why some of the loans are rubbish
They are rubbish then that questions the work.scott does
Or they came.to get games.and they have put effort in but cant get a game or a consistent start undernwarne theynthink why bother
