My answers to The Not So Funny Fun Quiz. I'll set the ball rolling even though it might run out of steam before very long.
1. How many managers in the Championship will have lost their jobs between 12 noon today and the end of this 20/21 season at 5.00 pm on 10th May 2021? I haven't got any ideas. Not sure why I asked this question in the first place but my answer is 2.
2. Who will be our top goal scorer by the end of this 20/21 Championship season?
This is a tricky one. I reckon Smudger will come good when we need it the most. A point to be awarded for each of the players who quite possibly finish as joint top goal scorers.
3. Will we beat relegation and still be in the Championship by the end of this 20/21 season? My heart says 'No' but my head says 'Yes'. It's a tough ask but I think we can do it and beat the odds and several other teams along the way.
4. Is anyone interested in this quiz? Yes, it's me. Others may disagree. I notch up my first point.
5. Will The Blades make an approach this coming Summer with a view to signing PW as their next Head Coach? This appears to be a rather unusual question, however stranger things have happened. But The Blades might not be interested as PW may have other ideas. Thank you, but no thank you to The Blades.
6. Has apathy set in yet during the reading of these questions? Come on you guys this site hasn't seen as much excitement since Alex Revell scored that equaliser in the play off final at Wembley and Steve Evans' trousers came adrift! Another point on the board.
7. Will any ST holders be invited to attend our home game against Blackburn Rovers on 1st May 2021? Why not? 250 ST holders in each of the four stands? It could work. My answer is a resounding 'Yes'.
8. What squad number will Miller Bear have on his football shirt during the above game? Think it could be number 99.
9. Are you still awake whilst reading this quiz? This is not a trick question. Honest. I'm going to say 'Yes' and notch up another point in the process.
10. Which of our players will score a hat trick before the end of this current Championship campaign? If anyone is hitting form at the right time it's Smudger. He gets my vote. As an aside I might even have a bet with the bookies on that one when restrictions are lifted. Am I a mug punter? Most probably.
Well that was painless and not as painful as having teeth pulled.
PS Cabin fever can be cured. That's what I've been told.
See you all on the other side. Well, down at the Aeseal New York Stadium preferably before the end of this current Championship season.

I am holding fire on answering this quiz, if I wait until the last day, the answer to all the questions will be (slightly) more obvious. As you didn't give a required completion date Wotsisname, I'll reply just before kick off on the final Saturday...........

Good call and point well made, Unifier.
Think the closing date ought to be the end of this Summer 2021 ( whenever that may be) or if and when we might get to know the answer to question number 5?? In the mean time there are still three easy points to score.
For anyone still interested I'm currently in the lead with three points. This is the quiz where no one scores nil points if they care to enter. This is the quiz which is more of a long yawn rather than a marathon. It's more a trivial quiz than a pub quiz. Make your answers as funny and amusing as possible.
Just for the record and with reference to question 5 of the quiz the current Sheffield United owner is Prince Abdullah Bin Musa’ad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Wonder if he's even heard of Rotherham United and PW?
UTM!!

My soccer knowledge (yes, it was referred to as soccer way back in the 1940s in England) goes back to pre 1409. I consulted on the first rules in 1411 reducing both goals and deaths by 99.9%
I was both the first manager, referee and transgender flagger (lino) in 1543 under his Royal Bigness.
Please don't let this thread deteriorate any further.
Okay, guys looks as though Ian has taken a somewhat spurious lead in this not so fun fun quiz. He's referred to some non-descript historical footballing experiences from pre-decimalisation days in the days of yore when Henry was deeply entrenched on his throne. Can anyone better 9/10 with a more cavalier attitude to this trivial quiz?
It's not too early or too late to have a go at this Not So Funny Fun Quiz. I might even throw in a tube of Smarties as a first prize for the person with the more imaginative answers.
Due to the recent lifting of restrictions re Covid19 the closing time and date for this Not So Funny Fun Quiz will now be 5.00 pm on 10th May 2021.
The judging panel to be announced in due course.
Just had a discussion with Eddie and Teddy down on the allotments. When I say discussion we were talking about lots of things other than football over cups of tea and salt and vinegar sandwiches. Even Daz and Kaz whom I met for the first time in a local beer garden were impressed when I mentioned this quiz. It cost me a round of drinks though. Bit of a dear do when you think that the first prize to the winner might only be a tube of Smarties!! It's looking promising and there is a faint hope of a makeshift judging panel in the offing.

No outright winner of the The Not So Funny Fun Quiz as both Ian and Wotsisname both scored a feeble 6/10.
Checking the answers was intense but manageable in the end.
I would have liked to have thanked Eddie and Teddy and Daz and Kaz but their services as a makeshift judging panel weren't required. It's even saved me a few bob having to buy another round of drinks!!
So, until next time. Will there be a next time?
You betcha there will!!
