From last weeks tizer Rotherham covid infection rate fell by 27% to 136.8 per 100,000. Those figures I believe which ever way you slice and dice it they are a lot lower than at it's peak.

Jesus. Nobody is suggesting that rates aren't coming down in Rotherham. They are. But they are still higher than in almost every other place in the country. That's it. Whether that's got anything to do with the outbreak at RUFC - we will never know.

I am only interested in the figures locally get them from the tizer every week gwru is correct there has been a dramatic drop in cases. As for the millers got to ask the question how come we are back in this mess again something has gone wrong no info. Someone is responsible for it hope it doesn't lead to a points deduction.

That's alright then. You are only interested in your tiny little world and numbers are falling there. The fact that they are still stubbornly high relative to the rest of the nation is of no significance to you. Brilliant. Remember that this started with a single case on the other side of the world, but resulted in lots of deaths in your community. What happens next door to you, down the road from you, in the next town, next county and even other countries has a huge impact on all of us. What does the 'Tizer say about that? I dont think it's a matter of anyone at the club necessarily doing anything wrong unless we breached the protocols around players mingling away from the pitch and other measures in place. If we can show that we followed them, we cant really be punished.

What is wrong in seeing what is happening in my local area?. We are getting a new library in Thurcroft exiting news. Just asking the question with all the other clubs at the moment seem to be avoiding this virus what has gone wrong. Are things going to go pear shaped with the very hectic run in. No lectures about what is happening nationally this is not the place for that.

There is nothing wrong with seeing what is happening in your local area.  The problem is that you said you are 'only interested' in your local area.  Big difference.  What happens nationally and internationally impacts massively on your local area, particularly where this virus is concerned.  That shouldn't be difficult to understand.

Being typically small minded just to justify your other half after he clearly misunderstood the big picture wasn't the best.

You should get down to that new library.  You could no doubt find tales of far off places like Chesterfield, Mansfield, Selby and other exotic lands.

The club isn't going to reveal who got the virus or how.  They probably don't know the how bit.  I agree with others that a general statement reaffirming that we have taken all possible steps and followed all protocols and that the last thing we wanted was illness amongst the staff and a fixture backlog would not go amiss.

Locally: Rotherham United don't know how it's got to this just hope we are back playing next week against Watford. Is it government says lives matter so all we can do as a club is work to their guidelines.

Not another lecture I will purchase the tizer tomorrow as usual hope that they can shed some light onto this mess we are in. At the moment doesn't look as though we could run a chip shop.

Tizer this morning no sanctions against us or pts deductions. The advertiser understands that the leagues governing body are happy with the manner in which Covid protocols have been followed to the letter. Let's get back playing ASAP & after the Sheff W win let's kick on & get the results needed in the remaining games to stay in the championship. I'd like us remaining there next season when I'm back in my seat, covid-19 under control allowing that.

Birmingham losing could Karanka be going for an even longer walk. Derby lost as well we have brum Wycombe and Coventry to play at home it's all gravy at the moment. Did anyone see Dave Watson on the BBC yesterday morning hope he can get the help ex players in that position deserve. Congratulations to JCH for getting league 1 player of the month I always knew he would come good.

I've basically said that. Coventry been said they want that break so after a week isn't that enough break? It's Easter weekend starting Friday 2nd April we're playing that day so a min' of 3 days before that can't see why it can't be rearranged for then.
