I disagree we can't have a keeper who can't deal with crosses ect... think Ladapo one of their players caught his foot just as he was about to shoot for that chance. Ladapo looked lively when he came on. Nothing else to say. Only Warney said abit back in the tizer if he couldn't keep us up he's resign. Well!

OK, so their goal was Offside, and a Red card - both given if we have VAR. Plus we miss a sitter and an easy header..

But that apart, we were rubbish tonight... We have gone back to hoof ball - which might be excusable away at Norwich, but not at home to Forest. The only time we looked ok was when we played it forward on the ground, which was about 3 times in the whole game.

I do not want to hear Warney say anything like "the lads gave me everything" or that we are tired . After that, he needs to say that we were not good enough, and he needs a reaction in our next games.. This is a test of his management ability as unless we improve very quickly from that performance we are heading for the bottom 2 at the end of season, period.

Unhappy, normally optimistic,  Miller,  good night....

..and , I forgot to say..

He is motivating the team for the wrong games... It is games like tonight, and the games against teams around us, where we should be fighting like hell and trying to play our best football... **** Norwich and Bournmouth - put our wekest side out agianst them, rest as many of our better players, and get them to play against these lower teams...

we are not targeting the right games...

good night (again)

Thought we were woeful tonight.

Lack of energy and conviction in our play. How many times did we give Samba in the Forest goal catching practise?

Think our keeper is the only one to come away with credit. Need to get our act back together quickly.

 I totally feel same

I am questioning the whole lot at moment. Can't help but think the team has lost the plot and believed their own hype. I have always accepted our qualities as well as shortcomings,  but I'm wondering at a low moment like this if we are now actually underperforming

I really do think as a club we should have made more of our recent appearance s at this level.

Looking at the progression in the field I'm not sure there has been any.

This is just my little opinion Wood and Lindsay out. Woody has dragged us to two promotions Lindsey been our player of the season so far. Once read about football from an old manager how many hearts have I got I am afraid tonight I did not see any.

Last night was a concern. For the first time i thought i was watching a team that was doomed to relegation. Ok their goal was offside and Freddy should have scored but the performance and Warne’s dithering over bringing subs on were both poor. Its important not to over react though. 4 weeks ago i wasn’t sat thinking we were going to win the league. Things can quickly change when games come thick and fast. What worries me most is that it looks like 2 games a week have caught up with us. Its been well do***ented on ifollow comms that we are one of the hardest running teams in Europe. Doing that twice a week is tough. Doing that twice a week with the same 11 is near impossible. Its an unfortunate side effect of the back 3 formation that we’ve created a line up with little option for team changes (especially given Lindsays absence). For me we have to consider whether its time to go back to 4-5-1 : maybe not in all games, keep the back 3 for the toughest games but in others play a formation that allows Giles more game time where he will be most effective as a winger and allows us to use Sadlier and Jozefzoon (yes i know he’s not very good but we need fresh legs) in rotation as wingers. It also means a spare midfielder to rotate. I think its potentially a less effective team but we cant keep running this same 11 into the ground twice a week for the next 3 months.

Going to be positive. I'm in agreement with DKNY to get Giles in the game need to go back to a back 4. I'd play Ladapo Saturday he wasn't that bad last night. Smith battled as always. Crooks wasn't in the game at all.

I usually don't respond to your barbed comments GWRU, but as usual, you've twisted things to suit your own preferences. Paul Warne didn't say he would resign if he couldn't keep us up. What he actually said was that if he didn't believe that he could keep us up, he might as well resign. This has been pointed out to you before, and still you choose to interpret it your way. Did you give Donald Trump coaching lessons?

Unifier doesn't matter how you word it if TS who I don't blame cause Rotherham public don't deserve him still had that ambition from when he 1st became chairman here Warney would have been gone last time we were relegated. Instead it's going to be two lost seasons back to were we were season 2019/20.
