https://the72.co.uk/222480/wigan-athletic-doncaster-rovers-and-rotherham-united-target-frozen-out-by-current-side/ Interesting reading, but no mention why he was 'frozen out'. Not familiar with this lad. Perhaps some of you boys know a bit more.

Sorry about the link boys, posted from the phone that causes a few probs. Just says we are interested in this lad who has been frozen out of the Ipswich side. Could be just paper talk. Is he worth considering??

No, certainly not Championship standard especially if he can't get into a mid table L1 team. Played against us for Shrewsbury in our 2018 playoff win at Wembley.

I know he was a key player for Hurst at Shrewsbury in what was a very good side and scored a few goals from midfield. I think he was one of Hurst's first signings after he went to Ipswich, so Hurst obviously thinks a lot of him. No idea why he hasn't pulled any trees up at Ipswich.

Well its often the case where good or potentially good players just don't develop as expected. I always think of Gary Birtels, the epitome of a classic centre forward and scoring for fun at Forest. Transferred to Man U and was a complete flop. Nolan could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe Warner's reported interest is just a case of having a look.
