Vaulks is a 1st team regular in a very good Cardiff team plus an international player take your warney goggles off. If we still had him 1st name on the team sheet and would be captain.

The same very good Cardiff team that sacked their manage at the and of January after six successive defeats?

And Vaulks is an international because his mother happened to be born south of the river Dee.

Cardiff are another club that when they give a manager a contract they tell him keep your motor running. As for international players I can remember Jack Charlton saying when he was manager of ROI if he can sing Danny boy he's in.

I'm not sure what Warney has to do with this, or what Warney Goggles are. As an aside, Warney obviously loved Vaulks.

I would remind you that Kyle Vassell is a full international for Northern Ireland.  I imagine you wouldn't take that as an indication that he is a world class footballer.

As I have said several times, I think Vaulks is a decent player, but no better than that. I thought he was pretty anonymous on Tuesday apart from his throw ins.

In any case, you are trying to drag me into an argument about Will Vaulks, when there really isn't one to be had.  Let's get back to Matt Crooks.

Crooks has been identified as the best player in the Championship for the month of January.  That is the same Matt Crooks who your bro derided as too slow and clumsy and 'never a Championship player.'  In the same way that Olosunde and Harding were never good enough, Ihiekwe shot to bits, Barlaser too lightweight, Wood too old etc etc etc.  The same expertise that had as Bailey-King, Hinds, Lamy and apparently now Cooper, Vickers and Kayode as top players.  Here is what he said about Michael Smith after one substitute appearance in a League One away match:-

'Cheap option.  He'll do a job for now.  Sooner see JCH he's got scope but not one of Warney's boys.  See how's (sic) right.  Real views.  I'll be proved right'.

Nobody else feels the need to rush in like a fool with snap judgement.  Everyone else gives players a bit of time and patience. Instead of acting as his wingman and using your usual diversionary tactics, why not have a word with him and tell him to hold his Counsel a bit and stop embarrassing himself?

You do repeat yourself tell me something I don't know. Crooks has been playing well deserves his award still think Smith has been the better of the two.

Well done Crooks.

Now he's fit and motivated he is very difficult to disposes and in full flight he looks unstoppable.

Imagine even being a normal 6ft athlete weighing around 11 Stone and being next to this 6'4' 15 stone colossus that can cover 100yrds faster than anyone in the club.

His control has been excellent recently and he can pass a ball and his work rate is probably close to lindsays and wiles.

Big players will always be targets for clubs.

I'll tell you something you already know.  Despite your bravado you have got a habit of conveniently sidestepping anything that shows you up or that doesn't suit you.  You dont need to say any more because it speaks volumes.

I'm nothing like you pal. You're here to talk rubbish and wind people up. And you/gwru have sidestepped saying anything about his misjudgment about Crooks and at least a dozen others, so in a sense and to give you a bit of credit it's a job well done by you.  You're not fooling anybody though.

Right pal (did that you'st to be a dog food) for about the fourth time Crooks deserves his award but it is just my opinion Smith has shaded him. Simple enough for you to understand.

You’st?! That can’t be a predictive text error, unless your device is able to predict that you will make words up occasionally based on past experience. I got the Crooks/Smith thing first time round thanks. As you know (you can’t possibly be as daft as you seem) we moved beyond that when - to hide his embarrassment -Eric (or is he Ernie?) pretended that Crooks had suddenly morphed into a different player, and you stepped in to cover for him.

You are dealing with two closed minds in T.H and Gwru, Smiler. What they do is ignore the relevant points and push their narrow and at times ridiculous views. It is all part of the wind up. I'm afraid that whatever you or any of us put forward, especially if it supports the manager or certain players will be dismissed. Imo Gwru in particular, has very set views about most things and it appears a lot of it has been formed in the very distant past. I have decided like others that it is time to move on. I will look at the site and occasionally put a view forward, but i feel most themes are hijacked and are a waste of time. Take a look at this post on Crooks.

My view on Crooks is this. He has been tremendous in the last few weeks and fully deserves this award. I was one who believed this season he was struggling, but credit to him he has proved me wrong and helped us in a big way to get us moving in the right direction. He is a powerful player, with a fair amount of pace, vision and an eye for goal. Let us hope he can keep up his current level of fitness. He is a very big player for us.

It must be a bad league championship if Wood is still playing in it! Hope Robbo keeps fit one of my boys from the start. Crooks I'm a fan now there's goals in him. Smith when we signed him had my doubts from were we got him from but been one of Warney's best signings.

Again, not true Gwru. You didnt have doubts about Smith. Doubts would have been fair enough. What you did was to say with absolute certainty, after he played 45 minutes in an away game that you weren't at, that he was a cheap option and not going to be good enough. You did your usual 'see who is right'. Thats what you said.  Were you right?  It is a simple one. Yes or no. Or will you dodge the issue, or will your other half jump in and cloud the issue?

When he stops rewriting history and when the pair of you are shown for what you are.

Whiston is being kind when he says the two of you are narrow minded. It's worse than that. You twist reality and duck and dive and do it deliberately to annoy people.  Its crap. The moderator wont do anything about it.  I'm enjoying holding you both to account. There isnt a lot else to do at the moment.  If you dont like it, dont read it or answer it.  But that will speak volumes.

Were you right or wrong about Smith, gwru?

And were you right or wrong about Crooks?

Remember, you didnt have doubts.  You were 100% definite that they were not good enough for the Championship, so you were either right or wrong.

At the time I said it was my view. Smith soon changed my mind. Crooks he's only just changed my mind.

Admitting that someone is good enough after saying with certainty that they would never be good enough is the same as being wrong. You couldnt get more wrong than saying 'never a Championship player' than that player being voted the best player in the Championship. You were plain wrong about them both. It is as simple as that.
