We put loads in on Wednesday on a sapping pitch, and have a big game on Tuesday. I doubt that the same eleven will start all three. We have the squad we have for exactly this reason. There are several positions where we can make changes without really weakening the side. I wouldn't be surprised if we named an unchanged side, and then again I wouldn't be surprised if we made three or four changes. My choice is to score three before half time this week, then make a few changes to keep players fresh for Tuesday.
I'm not happy with both keepers so far this season so will always be Vickers; Icky A McDonald Robertson; Harding Lindsay Wing Barlaser Giles; Crooks; Smith
I am not going to disagree with about his height The problem for me I have no real confidence in both keepers I just like to see one that commands his area not sure about both.
Preston are on a poor run. They have won one of their last five games in the league and only scored once in the last five league games. We have scored nine times in our last five league games. Their last win was against another out of form team in Birmingham.
We must surely go into this game with a bit of confidence and i think we can get a much needed win (yes mission impossible T.H.) I think we will play a very similar starting line up to the one that started against Derby. Of course it will all depend on the fitness levels of the players. I have no idea what they are but trust the management team to get that right. I am going for a 1-0 victory for us.
352. Johansson: Angus, Ihiekwe, Robertson: Harding, Lindsay, Barlaser, Wing, Giles: Hirst, Ladapo. These players have all got to play their part. Big opportunity for the new players and Ladapo and Hirst in particular to contribute. We cant wheel Smith and Crooks out every match. I dont think it's a case of prioritising Tuesday either, just the reality of loads of games one after another. I dont mind it at all.
I really didn't expect so many changes. It is the reality of lots of games and using the squad. However, i now think a point here would be a good result. I hope the combination of Ladapo and Hirst prove me wrong but it looks very lightweight to me. I disagree a bit with Smiler and think Warne has got an eye on Tuesday and keeping his in form and most potent strike force fresh for then. Go on lads prove me wrong.
This is a real opportunity for Lapado and Hirst to show they're up to this level. With Giles and Harding putting balls in, there should be a fair amount of chances; as well as those coming in from midfield. A team selected by a manager with longer term issues in mind and that doesn't bother me in the slightest.
C'mon Rotherham!
Fair enough Whiston - he might be. I think we will see Smith and Crooks play at least half an hour today in any case. It's a brave selection but he has to do what he thinks gives us the best chance over the course. Today might be Hirsts day - let's hope so. I think Wiles looked like he needed a rest and I'm not surprised by that one. The players coming in should be raring to go.

Fortunate to be ahead at half time but we deserve a bit of luck! Johannson has done well so far! I think we need to bring Smith on for 2nd half and maybe Olosunde. We're getting over run down the left and nothing is sticking up front. A real blow to lose Lindsey to early.
