I thought that Hirst was one of your boys. You wanted to see what he could do. were you wrong, or have you changed your mind?

I love your new disclaimer. 'Performances change my mind'. Despite the fact that you have your 90 seconds opinion, after which you add no-one will change my mind. Brilliant. You can never be wrong.

Hirst is dog ****, having a Dad who was a decent striker is no reccomendation, I just wish Warne could see it.

I didn't think there was much in it. Apart from several million pounds of individual quality that will always win out in these situations. 4 shots on target... 3 goals. We need 8-12 shots to score the same amount. Jammy has done well last couple of games. He's a big lad but he's conceded before when not getting off the ground quick enough. Yes the finish was sublime but Jammy was flat footed cos he didn't get up in time. The Bournemouth keeper the other week showed us that maybe 6ft2000 is not what's required of a good all round keeper. Can't fault the effort again. The ability to keep possession, we created chances had a good press from the front. Playing like this I really do think they've got the fight in them to stay up... Its a massive shame about Ogbene though. If we do go down well be technically too good for L1. Ladapo. What on earth was that on his left foot before he scored the header? Quicker we offload this guy and get someone who is a striker the better. Failed to gamble twice on Crooks winning a header he would win all day long, had he gambled he'd have been in on goal. No strikers instinct whatsoever. We need someone with pace up there, bags of it who can get in behind. Be interested to know how many free kicks JL wins in a season. Where does he get that energy from? Giles was fantastic when he came on. Countless dangerous balls in the box Sign him up if we can afford him.

Hirst will have a decent career in football but it is not going to be with us. Pity I thought he would have been a decent signing so did our manager. Now Flo when he comes on we go down to 10 men Tilt have we got him for another 2 seasons. They were very good yesterday but they also new how to play the dark arts and get away with it. Sadly it is part of the game now.

This issue with Hirst, has been given proper game time. Like vassell did no. I think with Giles playing and getting the crosses in Hirst will get the goal like Derbyshire struggles to get

When Robertson can play entire games and Smith is cream crackered after 70 mins... Put Woody up there... I'm not kidding. Gives Smith some serious competition for a place. (I actually think Woody would do a better job and actually score some but his years are against him). Remember Paul Warhurst?
