Doesn't matter about today. We need strengthening in for next Saturday not end of January. Left full/wing back to start with. Forward next. Send loan players back. Hope Robbo is fit soon. Vassell move on get Kayode back.
We were excellent. I wouldnt be surprised if Everton put a sizeable bid in for Olosunde, he was that good. He made France's left back look daft at times. I cant fault the substitutions. We have got so many more important games coming up and we have had so many out, it is important to keep players fit and at the same time give them all some game time. They will all be needed. We can take plenty of confidence from the fact that we more than matched a very strong Everton side. Best possible outcome for me - we were excellent and we havent got another unwelcome cup game in the fixture list.
Can only go on comments on Twitter played very well not enough depth in the squad when subs made went off the boil. Not embarrassed try to use it as confidence booster get transfer window right move on quickly from this game.

Same old Mantra. Everton, 5th in the Premier League, struggled to cope with Smith with Crooks just behind him. But then, you gave Crooks the 90 seconds verdict. He was excellent today.
The initial 90 minutes was the best performance of the season and Everton couldnât have complained had we won.
The subs we made weakened us, where have we said that before? But there is no reason why we canât take that performance into the league, the handbrake was off today and players expressed themselves which they will need to do for the rest of the season. More of that and weâve a chance of stopping up.
If you hadn't been in such a rush to get it wrong about Olosunde in the first place you wouldnt look so daft when you have to change your mind. The same applies to about half the squad.
You decided we were ultra negative today based on what you saw on paper. Again, too quick to judge. We were far from negative where it mattered - on the pitch.
Finally, when you have had a look at the highlights you come back on here and tell us in what way either of Evertons goals were in any way down to Wood's mobility (or lack of). If you rely on Twitter for your information you are in trouble. It is largely populated by people like you.
What is your problem with Twitter I don't go on it myself but those that do are millers fans entitled to their opinion whatever that maybe. As for Olosunde me and my amigo were calling for him to put into the first team a few weeks ago. Could not understand why he wasn't playing as I haven't seen the game live I will listen to fans that have.
the first choice team were excellent, but the substitutions massively weakened the team and we started extra time with a reserve team on the pitch so defeat was inevitable at that point. Now I know people will argue we decided to protect key players for the championship, but why not try and win the game and build confidence, results build confidence now the players have given everything and lost, psychologically that is very damaging. At least for the 90 minutes keep our strongest team on the pitch. To me it is the decision of a man that things negatively and assumes he will lose rather than win. I know people won't agree, but it is something I see a lot in how he manages the game from the sidelines. I stress I think the first 11 were outstanding and if they play like that and are given support by the board strengthening the squad then we do have a slight chance in getting out of the bottom three.
 Canât argue with that.
we are so obsessed with focussing on the next game we forget about the one we are actually competing in.Â
Twitter is not occupied by people like me cause I don't do twitter. Read it like today. What matters now is the championship starting at Derby. Hoping Robbo is back soon to replace Wood. I've already said we need a left full/wing back & forward not end of this transfer window for next Saturday. Got 4 games between now & end of this transfer window we don't want to be on catch up points adrift by then. Need to get players out not up to this level. We know who they are. All loans can go back to their parent clubs to start with.
At the risk of stating the obvious Gwru, the fact that you do not do Twitter does not preclude the possibility that lots of people like you do use it. Plenty of Twiitter users are prone to knee jerk and repetitive ill informed opinions. Many of them think that having a platform to spout their nonsense somehow legitimises or normalised it. Does that sound familiar?
It might also be worth adding that by reading Twitter you are part of the community. You did rely on it to inform your opinion of today's game. You don't have to be a Twitter poster to be a Twitter user.

Seen goals whoever was defender & Blackman got caught out for their 1st goal. No marking for their 2nd. Need keeper right to start with. Getting it right when championship resumes next Saturday what matters.
I do look at twitter if it it is good enough for our great manager ok by me. Used it to see what the team was if there is to be a signing next week no doubt a name will pop up. If I do that more than happy to be part of the community. I bet most of them on Twitter will look on millers banter as a waiting for god site.
Excellent bar a couple of niggles. Everton couldn't cope with our high press. Said many a time if there's one thing Warneys coaching has improved upon is ball retention. Just think if Ogbene and Oly could have gone at that left back?
Niggles... Both goals carbon copies of split centre halves. You play three to stop that happening it's schoolboy and has to stop.
We must be one of the weakest teams in the country going forward. Too many players have had their time and aren't good enough.
Smith seen enough, couldn't hit a barn door, Ladapo.. Still laughing in Plymouth, Vassel.. even Blackpool wouldn't take him back, Hirst see ya not fit to wear ya dad's boots, Crooks plays a false 9 on the basis he had 6 weeks a year ago where he couldn't stop scoring... He is not a goal scoring midfielder just stop it, play Wilsey there. Its massively concerning our most threatening, keep you guessing, goal threat is our right wing back. Barlaser... brings nothing and can't even take a set piece anymore.
If you can always have a goal in you as a team you're always in with a shout.
Unfortunately we're not bad up until the final 3rd then we're garbage.
Recruitment needs to be better. 2 good players out of 20 isn't a good stat.
Can't knock the effort though but the lack of ability up top will be our undoing
George Hirst....why? What can PW see in him that the rest of us don't?
He's utter dog doo, he's had MORE than enough chances, please stop wasting squad places on tripe like Hirst, Josefzoon & Blackman & invest in players that can do a job for RUFC as permanent rather than loan signings please đ đ
Completely agree Brad about Hirst and Blackman you are possibly right about Flo although he hasnât had as much game time due to us playing wing backs Blackman is the worst goalkeeper weâve had since Roos
I think the loans this season have been disappointing putting it mildly we have been spoiled in recent seasons with some good loans Rodak Towell even Ajayi I think was initially a loan
