Paul Warne never said he'd resign if he can't keep us up. He said he'd resign now if he thought we had absolutely no chance of staying up. Big difference. I've broken my own rule of ignoring you but I'm not standing by while you post things that are categorically untrue.

What's difference? So we get to later on in the season mathematically we can't stay up so he can't keep us up so if he's true to what he said he resigns. I can't remember what exactly he said I don't save advertisers & this was said before xmas.
Sorry, I should've known better, I can't really expect a bloke with a lump of offal between his ears to understand nuance. I'll stick to my rule in future.

Since our dark days at DVS the highest we have ever finished in the league has been 21st (fourth from bottom) in the Championship - a division that gets harder for us to compete in year on year as more and more money goes into the Premier League and trickles down into the top half of the Championship with parachute payments etc. When we have managed to finish 21st it has been largely by getting in very experienced players on short term deals. That meant we were possibly able to just about stay up, but weren't really able to then build on it because we were constantly looking for the next loan player, or 30 odd year old on a one year deal or shorter for the season after that. In other words, just hoping to tread water at that level. Today we sit 23rd, but three points from safety with three games in hand on most of the teams above us. We have a relatively young squad of players. This time if we can manage to stay up you can see potential for us to build on it with players like Lindsay, Wiles, Barlaser, Ogbene, Olosunde and Johansson being better for the experience. We have very few players older than 27. And we are in that position without overspending and with a manager who turned us around from a club in real trouble who nobody wanted to manage and has become highly respected in the game and a great ambassador for the club. No dodgy criminal history, no repeat appearances at FA Headquarters, no embarrassing touchline antics, good with PR. Of course I would prefer us to stay up. If we can it would be fantastic. If we can't we would still be in a relatively good place. Anybody who looks at where we are and describes it as 'another low' in our history in my opinion must have a very poor memory or a big chip on his shoulder, or both. Taking a step back from the situation, the repetitive abuse of the manager and calls for his sacking every time we lose a game to my mind is as tedious as it is ridiculous. He isnt and should never be beyond criticism, but overall he has done and is doing a good job.

If it's aimed at me whatever that's said you can't hide from the fact we needed strengthening before the Derby game. Left full/wing back & forward priority. smiler I don't see Johansson as a no. 1 choice keeper or Blackman. We don't want to be waiting while end of this transfer window for panic additions like last season's January window. Good news if Robbo's fit though can replace Wood & we can save wages on getting a new centre back in on loan.

You keep ignoring the question. How much income is coming into the club and how is it going to pay for new signings of the level that you two "DEMAND"
Explain the finances. Anything that mentions iFollow and Mayday will be laughed at.
TC you say there's not enough money. If that's right club just say so & it's league 1 football next season. But then it's salary caps & loss of championship money a few million. Might not be on here but fans aren't seeing much progress being made to being a championship club.
TC a waste of time with you. Your not here you don't know how it is. Last time at Wembley told you 5,000 less Roth U fans there than last time. You keep in the Warney bubble. Not me.
Twitter are about same as on here mostly pro Warney. Anywhere else not sure. It's hard enough to get the Rotherham public to back the club. Take your season ticket holders off then you have your floating supporters they are harder to keep.
Pro-Warney. Warney Boys. Why do you see it in those terms? Does everyone have to be either pro-Warney or anti-Warne? Or can you be pro-RUFC with a balanced opinion on Warne?
