S McDonald he's a sick note but Warney will look after him like Jones. More important can we bring Kayode back for the Cardiff game? I'd sooner bring Cooper back than Tilt.
Tell me why? Warney he keeps players past it or sick notes. Tilt another one if he was any good he wouldn't have been sent out on loan. Kayode can't be any worse than Vassell. Cooper he looks a player to me.
Cooper is currently playing for Gateshead in the National League North. With the greatest respect to him, he struggled a bit against Donny Reserves last season and is miles and miles away from being a Chaampionship footballer. The thought of him being thrown in against the sort of quality we are seeing week in week out is quite scary. It might destroy him. I think Kayode is promising but I think he has got two goals for Carlisle so far this season. A player like Hirst who is rated as a really good prospect is struggling to make an impression. Quite why anyone would think that Kayode even has a chance of coming into the Championship and having an impact at the moment I am not sure. Same with Vickers. It seems to be a case of anyone not currently in the team looking to be a better option, combined with a desperate need to be able to say 'I told you so' on the off chance they turn out ok. It's a bit odd to say the least.

Apologies to HensonsPRM's TTR rule, but I have to respond to this total idiocy from the Thurcroft anti-Warne arm. S MacD, before he was injured, was the most influential player in our squad. It's vitally important that we have a calm head, experienced, controlling leader in the midfield and S MacD filled that role absolutely. Call him a sick note gwru - cheap shot - you know nothing about football and have no appreciation of the RUFC psyche.
Wallow in your easy, cast random theories widely, options. Bring back Kayode and Cooper - without any evidence that they could bring anything to the team.
The majority of people on this board appreciate the constraints which RUFC operate within and our observations, praise or criticisms are based relative to that knowledge. You appear to have no appreciation of perspective. Hence, the majority of comments you make are seen as provocative or ignorant. I really do feel sorry for you - you're so out of your depth!
No one is saying S McDonald is not a good player but being injured all of the time what use is he to the team. You see sick note being used all of the time in football. Same with Robertson how long will both of them last when they do come back?. I want to see a few more young players come through instead of relying on scabby loans all of the time. Other clubs do it saw Rooney playing a couple of young players the other night. He was not very old when he broke into the Everton 1st team. Why did this present manager make a big statement he was going to bring the young players through what happened.

I know restraints we are under that's more reason to get it right in the transfer window. I'm sure a Tony Stewart of when he dispensed of Ronnie Moore's services Warney would have been gone some time ago. What use is S Mac Jones Wood Tilt. They are well past their sell by date. Add Vassell to the out tray. Send Blackman & Flo back to their parent clubs. Hope Vickers is up to it cause Johansson he's only a no. 2 keeper. We need a manager whose going not going to let sentiment cloud his judgments.
Tilt is as bad a signing as Blackstock. Over a 3 year contract for what! Wood tell me another championship side who want to stay there would have him at their club? Nothing against him he's been a good servant but his race is run.
Hillsborough he's been here nearly a year did he come on once. Touching 30 loaned out. Got another 2 1/2 years on his contract yet. Glad I'm not paying his wages!
Tilt is exactly one month younger than Virgil Van Dijk. We arent currently paying his wages - Wigan are. We picked him up for next to nothing and unfortunately he has been injured. He might come good, he might not. We shall see. You made yourself look a fool with Ihiekwe Gwru when we loaned him to Accrington Stanley, and you seem determined to do it again.
When will Tilt get into the 1st team on a regular basis if Robertson gets fit then there is Iki Woody A Mcdonald ahead of him. Has he been brought back to be sold tried that tactic with Yates last season.
smiler we'll be paying part of Tilt's wages out on loan. Hope Robertson he's back soon when fit good enough for the championship. Personally I'd be surprised if Tilt he's got a future here.
Tilt played over 100 games in two and a half years at Blackpool. He hasnt got a history of being injured regularly. He may or may not have a future with us, but I doubt he is ready for the scrap heap just yet at 29. He was good enough to have a number of clubs interested in him when we signed him, and a six month layoff at that age isnt likely to be career ending, particularly for a defender. You consigned Ihiekwe to the dustbin but he came back to become one of our star performers. It is truly weird how you moan about Lamy not getting a chance (even though he did get a chance after he himself had a long injury layoff shortly after joining us) but another player has been binned off by you without you even seeing him kick a ball. Very weird indeed.
