An awful statement from their Chairman. It was purely because of results on the pitch. Plus there were other reasons. Ten games with someone else's players who weren't being paid and he has been shown the door for not doing well enough. Ridiculous. A revolving door of managers and advisors, players not paid on time, ground transferred then hocked, points deductions for bending the rules, shell companies involved, fans not getting rebates they are entitled to on time or at all - i dont know but these all look like red flags going up around a club in deep, deep trouble.
They can't like xmas! remember Derik Dooley. Was a ridiculous choice Pulis. But if it's not working change it. We don't just linger on in the championship.
Really makes you appreciate what we have at Rotherham! I'm hoping Pulis doesn't sign a non-disclosure agreement and that some of the details behind his dismissal are made public. It's a club in crisis and I genuinely feel sorry for their dedicated supporters who, like or loath the club, deserve better.

100% agree Glenn on all counts.
Anybody who is interested in RUFC and football in general should be interested in what is happening in S6 for two or three reasons. Most immediately, they are one of the clubs below us in the league table. Secondly, they have got themselves into a real mess and all clubs can learn lessons on how to avoid it. They massively overspent and effectively borrowed on future years of revenue by encouraging supporters to buy multi-season season tickets and when they narrowly missed promotion twice it came back to bite them because they were saddled with contracts they couldn't afford and players who didn't want to be there but couldn't afford to leave. Gambling big can work, but it often doesn't. Thirdly, unfortunately these tales of woe at football clubs are not uncommon. When some new guy rides into town after finding out what colour scarf to wear and promises big things many supporters get very excited because they are greedy for 'success'. They need to be careful what they wish for. It won't always end well. That isn't a commentary on Wednesday specifically - it is a general observation.
To a certain extent I sympathise with Wednesday supporters, but there is a part of me that remembers when the Tuna King arrived and they started giving out big contracts to some big name players and these same supporters were quick to buy into it.
