Barnsley match. On or off ? !!!

As usual the silence from our club is deafening whilst other clubs with the same problem are announcing postponement of games.  Communication to fans is appalling. I bet the club offices have closed for Christmas and don't re-open til Monday. This virus is awful and we'll have to live with it but i've not heard of any professional footballers being really ill with the disease.  If our squad has been in self isolation i don't see how we can possibly play our next two games.

Agreed, why do clubs like Sunderland etc announce postponed games days in advance & ours one game at a time & always at the last minute.

Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamaal Lascelles at Newcastle are both suffering from long term effects of Covid and look like being out for a while with it.

The match appears to be on according to the Millers website.

Warney on OS doing pre- Barnsley press highlights doesn't sound that happy game is on. Just hope we are fit enough to do ourselves justice. A question can we bring Kayode back for the Cardiff game? If we can I would, apart from Smith i can't see much else we've got up front.

The EFL will call it off tomorrow i suspect even though, according to the Yorkshire Post,we unbelievably have not asked for postponement.

According to Paul Warne we did ask for a postponement but thats going against medical advice and would have seen us landed with a points deduction.

No Crooks or A McDonald. Apart from Flo & Vassell our strongest fit side.

Johansson; Olosunde, Harding, Ihiekwe, Wood, Jozefzoon; Wiles, Lindsay, Barlaser; Vassell, Ladapo.

SUBS | Blackman, Thompson, Clarke, Miller, Hirst, Smith.

C'mon Rotherham - let's stick it up the EFL!

I think I've left it late enough to buy my ifollow pass - can't see it being called off at this late stage!

The lineup is fine. The lack of training time in the lead up is a worry. I hope the players have retained their match fitness. I remember year ago a boxing day game at Peterborough during Ronnie's first spell when we asked for a postponement and weren't allowed one, and we went and won 5-0. I think Warne scored a couple of them. Same again would be nice.

Assume Smudge is the one whose had Covid and has recovered but is leggy according to Warnie. Vassell gets another chance to prove himself - no pressure!

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. I've got a tipster here predicting a Vass double in a 2-1 Millers win. You heard it here first.

BTM shouldn't bother 2-0 down! I'm not bothered what anyone thinks of me on here but Warney he's got to go, can't trust him with another transfer window. Playing 3 weakest players imaginable up front Flo Vassell Ladapo. I know we've had covid-19 in the camp but before that it was no different with those 3. Wood should have been retired before now. Johansson not tall enough for a keeper.

How tall does that keeper whose name you could never remember look to you?
