Peterborough have had their next 3 games called off because of covid, as all the sqaud have to self isolate for 10 days. I'd imagine something similar for us? Probably won't play again in 2020.

Is it us or Derby who it involves? Either way could be a good time for us to have games postponed. Saying Robertson & S McDonald could be back soon + transfer window coming up.

Yup - wish them well in 1st instance - but yes it might help us, get Chio back too... Just as long as teams around us don't win many whilst we recover & get new players in...

Yes we might get some players back from injury, but we could also be bottom of the league by the time we get back with a fixture backlog in already crowded fixture list. Not to mention that whoever in the squad already has or ends up getting covid could be months getting over it. There are a lot more minuses than pluses to this.
"This afternoon’s Sky Bet League Championship fixture between Rotherham United and Derby County has been postponed due to an outbreak of COVID-19, with players and first-team staff required to self-isolate in line with EFL and Government guidance.
The Club has therefore informed the EFL it is unable to fulfil this afternoon’s fixture and the cir***stances surrounding the postponement will now be the subject of an investigation in accordance with EFL Regulations."
I don't like the sound of the way that's worded at all... FFS Millers...
One positive test (yesterday?) and some players ringing in this morning to say they feel ill. If we haven't handled this properly we could be in big trouble. Derby supporters are kicking up a stink on twitter.
We’ve acted in line with guidance issued from EFL and the government. You can’t just call games off this has been done with EFl approval, the investigation will be standard protocol and one which Peterborough have been subjected to after they had to call games off for the same issue.
I mean sure we could have cracked on and infected Derby players just to get Derby fans off our case.

Best case = no more games this year. Get Robertson and MacDonald back, ensure Chieo is as close to returning as possible and concentrate on getting a striker in very early in the window. Those suffering from Covid should recover quickly and fully - young, healthy and fit individuals.
Downside = fixture congestion - but there is no way we could be expected to fulfil 3 games a week.
Worse case = someone has behaved irresponsibly and the EFL punish us - we definitely can't afford a points deduction.
Additional benefit = if we have a few matches postponed and if the Covid vaccination roll-out is efficient, there's a chance that some of us might get the opportunity to see a few live matches before the season ends!
GlennMiller I've said that says in the tizer this week Robertson & S Mac should be back after the festive period. All other injured players Mattock Ogbene Sadlier still have some way to go in their rehabilitation. We can get Kayode back from his loan in January. Left back a wide player & forward good enough needed. Need players not featuring & Vassell moving on. Blackman Flo send them back to their parent clubs. Not sure about Hirst.
Well Gwru let me help you regarding Hirst I think of him the same way you think of Woody Vassell Crooks etc he’s not up to it and best thing would be for him to drop to League 1 see if he can score some goals
You got this one wrong fella but I guess there’s always a first time 😆
Don't know about Hirst. When he came on other night showed abit more. Vassell I don't know how he's getting in the side. Ladapo he's more miss than hit.
