Why is our game management so bad

Why don't we ever learn?

It's really not good enough especially at this level.

And I'm not just talking about the last few minutes of halves when we seem to concede goals a lot more than we scor them and that other teams concede them.

Why at 1-0 up are we not more concerned with building attacks with cautious possession, this is simple coaching stuff you teach children.  Getting to the middle third then lumping it down the channels is not controlling a game.

Blackburn should not have been allowed back into that game.

Sort it.

It's a hell of a lot better than the moderating on here.

You weren't watching the same game as me Exeter. I thought we did a lot right in terms of game management. Although Blackburn applied some pressure they made very few chances, and in the last fifteen minutes or so the ball spent as much time in their half as it did in ours. I thought we played the corners and killed the clock quite well. It's tough to keep doing it when the ref decides to keep playing until the other side scores, but there you go.

I can't agree with you smiler as regards game management. SIXTY seconds to go & Lindsay plays it into the corner we lose posession & you know the rest. This isn't even an isolated incident either as you well know.

I am only agreeing with exitermiller this manager is very well paid to sort things out. If we are talking of banning what about a certain person who put peoples personnel info out on this site. I am no expert on these matters but is it legal.

It's personal but hey ho!
Special dispensation should be made for ridding a perfectly good fans forum of trolls IMO.

Not going to get into another slanging match made my point. That was poor tonight as a few have said we can't manage a game especially away from home. If the people who are in charge can not sort it get someone in who can.

We know your views & the ones of your alter ego so repeating them time & again is just being plain antagonistic but that's the point of them innit?

I have made my views known on this, last night the ref didn't help us at all, but the players were excellent, it was shocking management decisions with his subs that allowed Blackburn into a game that they were no where near scoring in. It changed the dynamics of the game, that is my view i know others don't agree but we are all entitled to an opinion.
On the manager, the guy loves the club, gives his all for the club and comes across as a genuinely nice guy but the facts show he is not capable of managing at this level, we are heading for a 3rd relegation under him and I wonder what the excuse will be for him this time
