Side for Blackburn

Just as Saturday was rightly praised, last night needs to be questioned.

We completely threw away (again) a game we should have won on the balance of play. It needs to be addressed why this keeps happening as it did last time out in this division. Can count Birmingham/Huddersfield/Norwich already where we have dropped much needed points.

We played well for the vast majority of the game but again our game management was poor. Lindsay was told to time waste from a good free kick crossing position. We continuously scratch our heads at the long periods of added on time during our games but we are just so obvious at trying to slow things down there's no wonder we end up with regular 6/7 minutes of added time.

We made three daft subs due to "fatigue" I've noticed how players not just at Rotherham but football in general are always tired after a loss and not a win. And that's not to say make subs but three at once?

The bristol.win proves we have players capable on a whole. My question is Are the management team ?

smiler i am happy to disagree with you about the subs and leave that where it is. I want Warne to succeed, and success is staying up, he has as much as he can expect available to him, he has players that are committed to him (so we hear), he has his own coaching staff, he has a very supportive chairman, he has his choice as recruitment manager.............we do not have a massive budget but what we do have is available to him, the only thing that will determine his success is his ability as a manager (and a bit of luck), I would love to be singing his praises in May I wouldn't want any manager to try the same thing 3 times and fail each time, he doesn't deserve that.

Hillsborough great minds must work alike! I've said on another thread play Hirst with Smith next 3 games. Thought last night when he came on he was more involved in the game.

I never said it was. That wasn't the point I was making.

I'll have a go at answering it. If we play a team with a budget several times what ours is that has a manager who does his job properly and their players are properly motivated, we will lose against them far more often than not even if our players give 100% and our manager gets it spot on.
