I support the club managers are paid employees there is is strong possibility we are going into tier 3. If he is not up to the task get someone in who can losing 14 points from winning positions will not keep us up simples.

Warney wants dismissing for keep playing Vassell. He hasn't got goalkeeper right yet. Taking Smith off other night, why? Never been a manager, never will.

Nice responses guys. As usual, don't bother engaging your brain(s), thinking about things or addressing anything anyone else says in any informed way. Brush it all away and just reply with the same throwaway lines. Genius at work. Well done.

I have a feeling that you are extremely confused here. Paul Warne who, some may say, had a modestly successful career in professional football for many years. He is a manager. He has been for for four years. You, however, have ever been a manager, never will be. He is also intelligent, eloquent and erudite. Three assets that I doubt that you possess.

The British educational system clearly abandoned Thurcroft believing that it was beyond help.

Question what do you need to be a manager in anything? Remember I've worked for some clever men. I'd say forward thinking. Warney can't even get team selection right, subs he brings on are worse. Recruitment for every player he brings in good enough there's one not.

What's that got to do with football managers. What qualifications did Ronnie Moore & Evans have?

I know more about the game than you and your brudda do. And, just like Paul Warne, I can string a coherent sentence together.

TC if you are pro Warney your knowledge of football can't be high. Being a football manager nothing else matters apart from can you hack it or not. Sir Alex Ferguson let his achievements do the speaking for him.

You have said that about Evans plenty of times THMiller, but it just isn't true and you need pulling for it.

Evans not only got Boston United relegated in May 2007 but they were relegated out of the Football League.  Immediately after taking Boston down Evans pledged to their supporters that he would stay and get them promoted back to the football league. A few days later he resigned and joined Crawley.

They are all facts.

If you are going to assert things, you need to make sure of your facts first.

You no doubt know all about Evans' financial dealings and brushes with the law and FA while he was at Boston.  If not google it - it is all on the record.

I will take Warne over Evans any day of any given week.  That is an opinion.

I love Ronnie Moore.  He never ran out on us like Evans did, but he was sacked when we were miles adrift at the bottom of the league with the season more than half way done.  He may not have a relegation on his CV, but in truth only because he was sacked before it was mathematically certain.  He might say that there was theoretically time to turn it around, but it looked highly unlikely.

All I know is Mr Evans has stated in interviews on a few occasions that he has not been relegated any problems take it up with him don't know anything about his financial dealings at Boston leave it to the anoraks.

I will take it up with you thanks, because you are the one who keeps asserting it. Perhaps his relegation from the football league whilst manager at Boston following a 3-0 defeat to Wrexham on the final day of the 2006/7 did not actually happen. Maybe I am mistaken.  Maybe you are.  Surely a man of his self proclaimed integrity would not lie about such a thing? Read up on his record before you decide. You make your own mind up. Dont plead ignorance though when the facts are out there. By the way, I have no doubt that you know exactly what is what.

Really? You are a layman. You watch from the outside in. I was involved from the inside for 14 years, and getting paid for it. You weren't much good at football you said. I'll ask you a question again. Out of the 92 league clubs how many are managed by ex-pros and how many are managed by ex-steelworkers who go to home games, mean all?

I'm up for the New York Tavern challenge after lockdown. Are you?

Have you ever met Paul Warne? You should. He'd tie you in knots. As would I if you accept the challenge.
