In other words: no. I asked you because you seem to step in as his official damage limitation manager when he embarrasses himself. 352 never works. Get Coughlan in. Hirst is the man we need. Ex players as managers doesnt work. Bailey-King is the next Raheem Sterling. Is there no end to his genius?
Don't go on the same negative attack this present manager has run his cource. I hope we can get a result on Teusday it is just blind faith. I will ask you a question do you think we will win?.
Coughlan is an ex player of ours of course. Which makes those combined pearls of wisdom even more laughable. Bailey-King was an out and out right winger. I thought a superfan would have known that. Of course I dont think we will win at Watford. What a stupid question that is. The odds are that their strike force that cost multiple tens of millions of pounds will put more goals past our loanee goalkeeper than our strike force assembled for a combined 500k will put past their England-capped goalkeeper. Their centre forward probably earns more a week than our entire starting eleven. That is the way it is, whoever the manager might be. If you are looking for a manager who can take us into Championship away games at newly relegated Premier League clubs as favourites you are going to be disappointed for a mighty long time to come. It is eleven v eleven so we have a chance, but the odds are massively against us.
When I saw him play he played left back that is all I can remember but comparing him with Sterling is even more laughable. Still not answered my question what will we do against Watford?.

Is Cooky here yet? Had enough of good human beings b*ll*cks!
You didn't answer my earlier teaser Gwru. Which manager of ours spoke at length about the need to get bad apples out of the dressing room and the importance of vetting transfer targets to make sure they are good people as well as good players? I will give you a clue - he said the same thing to the Yorkshire Post when he took over at Leeds.
You also didn't tell me how Graham Coughlan is doing. Do you remember him? He is the former Millers player who you wanted to replace Warne about a year ago (despite you thinking that ex players don't make good managers). That was before we got promoted and he moved to Mansfield in League Two. How is he doing?
In answer to Ploot, I think we will probably lose at Watford. A draw would be an excellent result. A win would be an amazing result. I think that would probably be a view shared by all sane supporters and I don't think that would change whoever the manager was. We have come up from League One with a tiny budget and they have come down from the Premier League with largely the same squad and a vast budget. Does that compute?
I am warming to the idea of Paul Cook being the next manager he is oven-ready. smiler agreeing with me not counting a defeat tomorrow as a result I don't know anyone in football who counts a loss as a result.
Anyone remember our visit to Watford in 78/79? My first visit. We were 2-0 up I think but drew 2-2. It was right at the start of the Elton/ Graham Taylor rise to prominence. The match was on MOTD too & they had a s****y electronic scoreboard. Great memories 😁

Dear me TH. A 'result' is the outcome of the game whether it be a win, draw or loss.
Add an adjective and you might have a good result, an average result or a bad result.
No charge for this service - it was free to me in primary school.
I've got absolutely no idea what you are talking about THMiller. We will either win lose or draw. I think a defeat is the likeliest outcome. I dont know how to say that in clearer terms. You and Toot have obviously got no intention of acknowledging the fact that Steve Evans (ironically) was talking about the need for players to be good apples long before Warne even began his managerial career. Nor is Toot going to address the overwhelming evidence in support of the theory that he doesnt know his managerial arse from his managerial elbow. Clearly he thinks that Warnock and Robins were poor managers and that Coughlan and Parkinson have been enormous successes since he touted them. People will make their own minds up.
I never hear the word result describing we are going to lose the match in football probably out of date like you are. The common words I hear are we can't afford to lose this game or we have to win this game. Or not the end of the world if we lose this game just a few. Are some of you ex school teachers only thing I learned after you have had the cane 10 times it doesn't hurt as much. I left at 16 learned a very skilled trade went to work loved it wish I was still doing it now. Who the hell is Toot and Ploot goes over my head Bill and Ben man myself which one of you is weed.
I really do understand your frustration HM. However, there is a fundamental point to this debate. If we can't understand what TH is writing, how are we supposed to respond to his posts?
Back to football. All that matters is if we have players good enough to stop in the championship. If teams good enough as long as players aren't breaking the law supporters won't bother about much else. It's up to the manager to be strong enough to control players. Evans v Warney. Side Evans kept us up with in 2015 not including loan players his signings Arnason Broadfoot Frecks Morgan Ward Derbyshire JCH don't think you'd argue would walk into our present side.
