Not a clue Coughlan got sack for poor performances don't expect him to admit he was wrong no one does on this site except me sometimes. If results carry on the way they have been going changes will have to be made. Parkingson got the push when Sunderland we're near the top basket case club.

You say not a clue, but you are spot on this time. Both at ambitious clubs, and both sacked for underperforming. To be fair, not many people on here profess to be a football genius and put wild opinions out left right and centre so not many have occasion to say they got anything wrong. Your mate should be better practiced than most at it. Managing us in this league isnt easy. Evans knew it and moved on before he got a relegation on his CV when the money ran out. Stubbs and Redfearn both came with big reputations and couldnt hack it. Jackett lasted five minutes when the reality of the task dawned him Warnock didnt fancy it long term. He worked a short term miracle, but knew the size of the task beyond that. It sounds easy to sack the manager and get a.n.other in, but it is a step backwards in the development of the club so you have to be confident that a.n.other will be able to do a better job.

The one thing I can agree with you I reckon warney will walk away he will not want another relegation ln his c/v. Sooner the better as far as I am concerned. I have got my one brain cell working bring back ronnie only for the rest of the season. We need someone in who understands this club he has kept other clubs up.

Although I appreciate the job Paul Warne has done for the club there comes a time when the management have to be accountable.

Days like yesterday cannot happen again. We were disorganised, lacking any fight a total shambles.

We went into the game with a plan but without the players capable of succeeding. Harding is not a wingback, Mattock is not good enough at this level particularly at wingback. The back three looked like they had never played together before. In midfield only Lindsay looked up for it. I think Ben Wiles is going to be a good player but you cannot at this stage of development ask him to play in four different positions in one match. It also says to other players in those positions they are not good enough. Matt Crookes is no wear near the player he was perhaps it’s a step to far.

Up front we have a front two who do not link up and play has a pair. Ladapo is an individual who plays for himself and on his own. He does not look to play other people in that may be because his first touch is so bad. Michael Smith tries but with no support from his partner and midfield being slow to support he looks totally out of his depth. The lack of support from referees doesn’t help either. I can’t see anything to come from George Hirst and I still have no idea about Kyle Vassell.

The substitutions yesterday were dire we went to headless chicken mode.

Overall perhaps one of the most disappointing days I have had being a Rotherham supporter.

Adam Thompson must be a poor player.

It is the job of the manager to sort this pretty quickly.

Watched game on I follow but last night on quest highlights Warney was sat in his dugout looking like a lost soul. Tony Stewart end his misery now! It's a shambles that side. Why does he always take Lindsay off & leave Crooks especially on whose like I said way back he's not up to this level. Wiles isn't doing much more at the moment but with better management can. We have no fit wide men good enough so what's the alternative? Wing backs? Wood should do the honourable thing & retire. Flo same as Miller not strong enough. Paul Cook if he'd manage us looks a manager to me.

Let me make it clear I am not asking for a change of manager I am asking the present management team to get it sorted out.

You are no better at picking managers than you are at spotting players Gwru!  Does Cook look a better manager than Parkinson and Coughlan now? I'm not saying Cook isnt a decent manager, but have a look back at the Wigan board and you will see that there were people like you (unbelievable I know) not very long ago on there moaning about dire performances from his Wigan side and wanting him out.

Ask your brother by the way whether he got my 'bad apples' question right.

I'm not saying either that managers shouldn't be accountable or that they shouldn't be changed from time to time for the right reasons.  It is done far too regularly for the wrong reasons in my opinion, which doesnt make for long term growth and improvement.

I listened to Warnes post match interview, as always he was honest but he said two things that are very very worrying
Vass was probably my best player - god help us if that is the case, bloke runs around like a headless chicken, can't control a ball and constantly fouling, then again that probably is what warne wants from a player
It is not for me to criticise the dressing room - get your head around that, the manager says it is not for him to criticise the players, his team, so what do we do, have a group meditation, sit them on the naughty step, give them a sad face sticker (Vass will get a gold star)

That worries me a lot, those comments show me a man that is more interested in not upsetting and wanting to be their friend, said higher up the board that Warnock did a good job short term, i don't suppose he was worried about criticising the dressing room.

Warne is too weak as a leader for me, he is more like the bloke that runs my step sons beaver group, they get a badge there for turning up

Very worrying in my view, love Warnie to bits but our renouned team spirit seems to have gone & the players are throwing him under the bus. Basic defending done badly, ineffective midfield & a front two starved of any service & I can't see anything changing tomorrow.
Crooks frustrates the hell out of me. Very talented but bone idle & disinterested.
