Finished game better with two strikers on.

Do you think? I personally thought we played a lot better first half and looked more like scoring. Second half we created nothing and looked like we wouldn't score if we played all night.

I didn't see the whole game cos I was on zoom, so probably should have kept my gob shut, but I thought apart from Lindsay's good strikes in 1st half, I thought ladapo/hirst looked like they might nick one.

I do not agree with playing Smith as a lone striker, as he needs too many chances before he gets one in...

Ladapo/Hirst ot Ladapo/Vassell would be my pick Saturday. it's no good having good midfielders if they have no strikers to pass to.

it's just my opinion obviously, and I'm hurting after that result.

I did think Luton were much better than us overall...

woke culture is to do with having nice people, they are too soft and this softly softly approach doesn't cut it when the chips are down, there is no fight in those players and that comes from the leadership style.

Which experience coach, not my job to find one that is what we have people at the club to sort out, but this is not the first time in the championship so there should be no excuses we are making the same mistakes, one style of play, no idea how to change a game and that makes it easier for other teams to work out how to play against us.

I know what woke culture is and it's got nothing to do with us losing tonight. We lost because we didn't play well and didn't create enough chances to score.

I know it's not your job but it's easy to suggest change when you've no idea what the answer is. If we were a club who could attract a good experienced championship coach then Paul Warne would never have got the job in the first place. We have a two options, an old has been off the managerial merry-go-round, or somebody young and untried. I'd rather stick with what we've got, the grass isn't always greener. That's not defending tonights performance at all, the second half was awful.

Not one striker good enough.

PW has a lot of work to do on the training ground because we simply don’t look like scoring enough goals.

There was so much wrong tonight from not having a full back on the bench to all substitutes brought on. Blackman & 2 wingers lacking. Warney should have gone last time we went down from the championship. Not up to managing in the championship.

This isn't a forum any more. It used to be, it was excellent, far better than the other one. Sensible balanced debate underpinned with a love of our football club. Weak moderation has ruined this forum, a forum dominated by two (possibly one) individual hell bent on antagonism, revelling in every defeat or bad performance passing it off as "opinion". I'm THAT close to leaving altogether but the silence of the two moderators after repeated requests to get involved so in effect if this forum does die they'll be about as much to blame as gwru & TH

Danny Cowley could do a decent job what about Joey Barton a couple of names come to mind. We play Preston on Saturday I might have to hide behind the sofa for that one.

I think deep down we all knew the Warne/Barker combo didn't have the tactical nous to hack it at Championship level but we accepted i t because we are what we are and are merely flirting with this standard of football. If,as a successful businessman,Tony Stewart sees the brutal financial necessity to stay in this league he could do far far worse than having a quiet word on Saturday with ex player Steve Thompson(successful wherever he has been) to come in and sort us out. Can't see anyone else being interested. There were so many obvious weaknesses tonight that i don't see any other scenario than relegation and i am not sure the bigging up of recruitment guru Scott is at all justified. Need to sleep on that extremely disappointing display.

Brad & rest. If our club was managed correct there would be no unrest between posters on here. Tonight was that bad it wasn't true. You can't hide from that performance. If we can afford it time for a change of management.

Worrying how we more or less gave up after the goal.

I’d put Luton on a similar level to us, some decent players and work fairly hard for each other. One thing they were streets ahead of us though was game management, after the first goal they got stronger and you felt they could have got a second. If the roles were reversed we’d have been camped on the edge of our own area.

Big big season for us this and the management, fear we are just on our way to repeating the same mistakes as before after some promising performances.

Agree with all that C. One of my criticisms of our managerial team is that they do seem to operate on an "old pals act" basis. Smith & Crooks in particular have looked out of their depth so far & Hirst is a huge huge mistake.
Our budget restraints are well known as is our wage policy which leaves the management little "wriggle room" but at times Vassell & certainly Olasunde had fine spells in the side last season so why do they find themselves in the cold now? Trevor Clarke has represented his country & is a LB by trade, have we even seen him in the 18? At least look at an alternative approach Paul that's all I ask.

We are in the mire Some fans think warne is god. To me he is a manager with limited skills nice guy but his tactical nous and barkers are limited He played smith up front ONE HIS OWN AGAIN HOW MANY MORE TIMES THIS DOESNT WORK Mattock injured brings crooks who has been garbage. To slow for this league Why not sadlier ffs So team saturday will the warne favs Blackman kick it out to toucn Harding done ok so far Ithiekwe doing good Macdonald doing good With mattick injured it will be Jones or wiles why not clarke if fit Miller impressed with him Barlaser first name on sheet Crooks Absolute dire but warne picks him above others. Smith warne tactics leave him exposed with no support championship defence smother him Same formation preston scouts didnt have to turn up

Warney he's on about changing it Saturday bringing fringe players in. Apart from Olosunde & Sadlier can't think of a fringe player good enough. Crooks, Ladapo & Smith + Vassell no. Clarke no also. Time for TS to act. It's too cosy here. I'd like Joey Barton here.

I echo those thoughts when you have a bad game you find out how many hearts you have in the team. Only Wiles stood out crossing none existent might have to put woody in need a leader on the pitch. I know he lacks pace he is one of the few players who is battle-ready. I know some of you will not like what I am about to say. This is a football site for any millers fan what ever their view life would be very boring if we all thought the same.
