smiler I don't like getting personal but you come across as liking the sound of your own voice that's putting it politely, abit of a know all. You go on about putting money into the club but it's not your money it's the business you was with their money. TH is like me over the years put a fair bit of his own money into the club. I do agree with you everyone for various reasons can't get to the games doesn't make them less of a supporter.

Everybody is a know all compared to you gwru, a know nothing.

Smiler said he owned the business, so it was his money, or can't you read?

I'm not arguing with a idiot. All I'm concerned with posting on this site is to do with Roth U. I know enough about that. I didn't read all that smiler said thought it wasn't really relevant to a supporter who puts his own money into the club. Money from a business? Goodnight

I went to work grafted did very high skilled work. Had to work shifts changed shifts the with the goodwill of the dee dars. Fans find a way of supporting their club. I do find it very sad that so called supporters spend a lot of time pulling other supporters down. Isn't the internet great.

Gwru. A business I owned. The money spent, if not spent, would have been profit and would have ended up in my bank account. I will always take constructive criticism from people I respect. You arent one of them. THMiller, your blinkered view of the world is embarrassing. We could have a chat o/t about equal opps and the right to an education, about how the cost of funding it is reinvested in taxes paid in later life and about how we need students to drive research and advancement, but you wouldnt get it. Yours is the worst kind of snobbery. This was once a good thread with good contributions from people who respectfully disagreed but had something worthwhile to say. Yet again you have dragged it down by starting your inane 'I dont have to listen to you lot cos you weren't at Don Valley' bullsh1t.

Again for clarity gwru, I was sponsoring matches and paying for a season ticket at the same time. With my money. Not that it matters, because how much you pay to the club does not determine how good a supporter you are or how valid your opinion is. Is that clear enough?

I take it you did not go to the Don Valley if all the millers fans had that attitude no club. Look I am not the concerned if you went to uni but who paid for it. I worked 13 hour night shift then went straight to college on day release nothing to it. We will see how many turn up when it is safe to do so.

You hope you'll see. Like I've said before, it's not guaranteed at the moment. Don't forget to wash your hands!

smiler anything personal of a distasteful comment should be removed from this board. Up to the mods. I don't agree with TH. I used to swap shifts, go on early to get to night games but those jobs aren't there now. If you can't get to the games no problem to me. Get when you can. I'm not interested if anyone didn't go to the DV. Look forward to when we can be back at the NYS.

You don't take notice of 'full time' supporters either. You get great satisfaction out of being a **** don't you?

I really think this thread, which started off as an enjoyable exchange of views has once again been dragged down into to the cess pit by Toot and Ploot. The thread has now become offensive to me, although it does not concern me, but the personal slights against a fine member of this board has gone beyond all sense of decency or reasonable behaviour. He can of course answer for himself, but It's an absolute disgrace that it is being allowed. The mods, if they exist, really must now step in to terminate these continuing deliberate childish spoiling tactics which has caused the loss of several decent posters who frequented this site in the past..

I apologise not to THMiller / Gwru but to the rest of the posters on here who deserve better. If I have offended any of you, I am sorry. People like THMiller/Gwru represent a lot of what is bad about social media. Cue their 'I just say what I see' and 'lighten up' replies but they know exactly what they are doing. I took the bait and shouldn't have. Somewhere in or near Rotherham a keyboard coward is chuckling about successfully spoiling other peoples' enjoyment. How sad is that? Again, apologies.

No need to apologize smiler. I thoroughly enjoy your positive contributions and that of others. But I feel embarrassed that a certain individual, and I do believe it is only one person, make this site a laughing stock and have driven away decent regular posters; this is what offends. They must have a sad and singular existence to spend so many living hours sitting at a keyboard pumping out drivell to stir the 5hit. He clearly gets off on his malevolence and in some respects must need human compassion. Clearly something is missing.
