Team tonight v owls

I personally thought it was a pretty poor game and I don't think we played anywhere near as well as we did first half at Reading, but do I care? Do I 'eck. We've just beaten Wednesday 3-0!!

What about the we were 2-0 down against Leyton Orient came back to get promoted short memories some of you. Still it is a good win pity that us fan were not in attendance to witness it. What about gwru's man Lindsey star man he definitely knows his stuff.

Help!! Can someone please interpret this absolute nonsense?

Rotherham United 3 v Sheffield Wednesday (ie. gwsw and TH Owl's team) 0

Last time I witnessed us beating the Owls at home was 3 months before I joined the RN in 1976 - Dick Habbin getting the winner. If any 'real' Millers' fan can't take pleasure in that, and shout from the roof-tops, they're not Millers!!

Let's see gwru & TH Miller pick holes out of that, but they'll try. Elated tonight, Lindsay , Harding & Ikky were outstanding

After your earlier post Brad - I trust that you got through the game without major medical issues and that you have a long and restful night's sleep!! UTM

I'm delighted with that result. Performance wasn't anything out of the ordinary, didn't have to be. Move on to Stoke that won't be easy.

Much more purpose than the Reading game. I think if we really wanted to we could have rubbed their noses in it.

Miller and Lindsay were outstanding, Miller made the decision to completely leave him out at Reading look even stranger. Get the tiredness issues with the games coming quick but he adds a lot of balance and works really hard for the team, even if he may not be fully fit he’s more than useful for sixty minutes or coming on as an impact sub.

gwsw - No - I've seen much worse. More to the point, why on earth are you not celebrating a Rotherham win against our keenest rivals. To save you the trouble in answering - because you are a Wednesday Fan!!

Goodnight to all the Millers' faithful!!

GlennMiller I'm no Wednesday fan. What am I doing on this site if I was? Just I'm not going overboard about that. Stoke next be a more of a test.

If you're not going to go overboard when we win, how come you always go overboard if we don't?

If we beat Stoke, you'll say they were crap and the next game will be more of a test.

I thought we looked good tonight we closed down well and played nice football, the two wide forwards are starting to look better. Strange first substitution as it did put us under pressure but I think it was to protect him for future games. Wednesday are a 1 man team without Bannon they are awful, when it was 11 aside it was just long ball hit and hope, like watching a league 2 team. Great to see us beat wednesday we needed the 3 points we are still only 17th but we do look capable of winning when we play at our best. Unfortunately Smith showed yet again why he is not good enough for this league, his miss was terrible and the main concern is he has no ability to read a game or anticipate and for a striker that makes you useless. He doesn't move until after the ball is played he is so static. To end on a positive Wiles is becoming a good strong intelligent player and Harding had a very good game.

More positives Hirst he looks to be getting up to speed now. A McDonald back at Stoke. Miller looks a threat & one of my boys Lindsay he's got the shirt for the next game. Not many negatives from last night.

What about the millers beating Wednesdays at the NYS just after it opened league cup or whatever it was called. The Pringle goal was one of the best I have seen from a millers player. As I keep saying selective memories from some of you.

What the hell are you talking about? I think you are trying to play down the significance of us beating Wednesday 3-0 by saying that things still arent as good as they once were back in the good old days. Is that it? Why would you feel the need to do that? What is your problem? What with you banging that drum and gwru doing what he always does by dismissing it and immediately saying 'I'll judge it on the next match', anyone would think the pair of you dont really want Warniola to do well. Have Gillingham sacked Evans yet by the way? Four goalless defeats in a row I think it is now for them. Imagine your posts if that was our form! Top tip guys. We are in a good place. Relax and enjoy it.

TH Miller makes a tit of himself No:1556

I remember that night very well, it was fantastic, one of the best at New York. I remember every win we've had against Wednesday in my lifetime, the 1-0 under Warnock, the cup win on penalties under Robins, and both of the 2-1s under Ronnie. All brilliant days. I was at them all. Were you?

However, I've never seen us beat them at home in the league in my lifetime, I've also never seen us beat them by more than one goal. So as a real miller, forgive me for enjoying a 3-0 home win against them. It's what proper fans usually do.

But anyway, what was your point?
