Not an English lesson! Need squad in place for the 16th next Friday. No making do. Alot of games to be played before the next transfer window.

That isn't the topic of this thread though, read it what the topic is, contribute to the topic, or **** off. If you want to babble on about nothing in particular, start a new thread instead of ruining this one.

Topic it's the best we can be. I'm saying how I would approach that.

No, you're talking about who needs to be in the team next week.

Smiler was asking what is the highest level Rotherham United can realistically hope to get to with the budget and crowds that we have? Regardless of who the current manager or players are.

It depends on squad we have after this transfer window ends. Think highest we could hope for would be lower mid table. Lowest in the bottom 3. I'm hoping we get it right & stay in the championship for next season.

So you must be really pleased with where we are today? 12th in the championship. I know I am.

Without a massive level of investment we are about the best we can be which is fine. The club has come on no end in the last 5-10 years.

From what I have see we are more than holding our own so far, we may not be able to attract the best players in the division but if they have enough belief in themselves they can survive comfortably in my opinion.

Any amount of future investment in football from grassroots to EFL level would be welcomed just to help the majority of clubs survive.
Many business people like to see a return on their investments.
The last resort and football's salvation would be to see some Premier League footballers putting their hands into their pockets and help to support some clubs who are currently in financial dire straits.
However, there are many other deserving organisations and charities in need of financial support at this unusual time in the history of humankind.

Enjoy your day and today's match! That's if you are able to watch it.

Stay safe!

UTM!

Today's match? Thought England were playing tomorrow, and our match versus Norwich was next Saturday?

Sadly, the only time anyone on this site engages in conversation with me is if I score an own goal.

I would not beat yourself up about getting things wrong I am the grand master. I enjoy your post you are not nasty. I don't expect everyone to agree with me some of you on this site think they know everything. As I keep saying that a sense of humour would improve things.

Sorry wotsisname, did not mean to ridicule your "own goal", if it is any consolation I too thought we were playing last Saturday. I even booked ifollow for streaming the match last Friday, and only realised my error on Saturday when I went to the BBC webpage to check the result of the Friday night Derby County - Watford game, only to find that it had not been played yet.
