One thing I do know King Ronnie has never been in charge of a team that has been relegated. Present manager twice might be a hat trick watch this space.
This isnt a thread about Ronnie, but in case you weren't concentrating Ronnie (who I think was fantastic) was sacked in Jan 2005. We were adrift at the bottom of the league and certainties to go down. We got 29 points.
If a manager got 0 points after 45 games then resigned before the final match, would that not count as leading a team to relegation in your simple brain?
I just want to see my team have a go every now and then under this present manager in the league we are in at the moment I see nothing.
The thread wasnt really about the present manager. Again you've embarrassed yourself with your inaccurate dross and mind of a thick schoolboy. It's a shame, but it isnt a surprise, and the biggest shame is that you know exactly what you are doing
I find it very poor when so called supporters have a go at passed managers especially with the record of Ronnie Moore. I loved watching the millers when he was in charge the sausage rolls tasted better as well it was just more fun.
At the risk of stating the bloody obvious, nobody has had a go at past (or passed!) managers. You are obviously very nostalgic, but the plain truth about Ronnie Moore is that although he goes down as a legend we did actually sack him twice. That's just a fact. He was sacked on 29 January 2005, at which point we had won three league games in well over half a season and were 12 points adrift from safety. Also facts. Not many fans at the time were happy just to turn up and enjoy the sausage rolls. A great number were booing and calling for King Ronnie to get what he got - the bullet.
It is unbelievable that you object to criticism of a passed (!) manager (even though there hasn't been any) but think it is ok to have a vendetta against the current 'clown', as you put it. I have never called for any manager to be sacked for football reasons. You can't say the same.
This is another thread that you have managed to knock off course and drag down to your level. Congratulations.
Smiler - I admire your determination and patience in attempting to have a rational discourse with our resident naysayers, but in the current climate I do fear for your mental health and would advise a less stressful pastime. It is quite clear that TH OWL and gwsw are agitators from a rival club whose sole intention is to create disquiet amongst genuine RUFC fans.
Thanks Glenn. I am going to take your advice and do something less stressful. If anybody wants me I will be outside hitting my head against a brick wall. Seriously, I will be on the golf course by 11 and all will be well. I dont take the Two Stooges seriously at all. I know who and what they are.
My eldest is 18 next Saturday by the way Glenn. I may be having a mid to late life crisis. If we were open for business we would be in hospitality for the Norwich game for sure, but as it is will have to settle for iplayer. Let's just hope Vass starts!
I aim to please if you are going to have a go at me I will repeat again the least you can do is spell my name right. Back to being the best we can be in king Ronnie's first spell we had some great games loved it when we beat the massives. I do have a go at this present manager because I don't think he is good enough for this league we are in. I hope he can prove me wrong three relations would not be a very good record.

The best we can be right now isn't 'Ronnie's first spell' is it? I know you're thick but come on. The question isn't what is the best we have been.
Why don't you answer the question properly for a change. With our budget and usual crowd numbers (when they're allowed back in) what is the best that Rotherham United can realistically hope for? Regardless of who the manager is.
He/it is a lost cause. Life was so much better when he could sit in the DVS patting himself on the back for being first in line to buy a season ticket. Ironically his alter ego, is fond if saying 'I look forwards not backwards'. You try and ask a question about what we can reasonably hope to achieve as a club (as Realmiller rightly says, regardless of the manager) and you get a rose coloured trip down memory lane together with a quick rant about the current manager. Terrific. Thanks for the memories.

You have got it wrong again it says The Best We Can Be talk about me moving the goalposts. I suppose it is ok for the warney elite to it.Anyway that is me done for today it is bin day exiting times. The good news I will be back tomorrow 😁.
I'm not bothered about king Ronnie he's up himself. Best we can be? Not Wiles or Olosunde playing Right wing. Crooks he's got up his game, not sure if he can. Vassell replaced. We aren't far off a staying up side but need a left back, Right winger & another forward.

I see that TH has logged off and then back on with his other username.
Again, not answering the question at all. Read it before you spout off the same sh*te you put on every post.
