Totally agree with Smilers points when he said they forced us back, kept the ball better, technically very good and had better individual footballers than us. They had over 70% of possession but didn't create that much and i think some credit should be given to us for how we defended.

I would be against playing 3:5:2 and using wing backs, mainly because i think it would be more like 5:3:2 with our wing backs being pushed back by better quality opposition and leaving the midfield three with too much of a workload. I just cannot buy into playing two upfront with what we have got. None of our strikers have scored in open play. With Ogbene missing for 4-6 weeks i expect the supply to be even less. When we get Barlaser up to speed he could be the supply from deep we are missing. I still believe we will be in the thick of a relegation battle but we have a bigger and better squad this time around and that might just make the difference.

Hirst and Ladapo never looked a threat to me and Vassell likewise. I would revert back to a loan striker and for all his failings (scoring) Smith is still possibly our best option. I would use Ladapo as an impact later on in the game and i see that as the only role for vassell as well. Hirst is a work in progress and might not be the sort of signing we needed. It is still early days for him and i hope we find a role that brings out the undoubted talent he has. Still believe we can stay up but realistically i don't expect it to be done with good attacking football but with graft and teamwork to grind out points.

We keep forgetting that we are largely a L1 side still and playing against teams that were recently in the premiership, let's not forget it's far from a level playing field and this league is probably the most unlevel of the lot.

On reflection in our first three games we perhaps played sides who, whilst they are not poor, (with the possible exception of Wycombe -- it looks like a long hard season for them) suit us a bit in that they play in a similar way to us. Today was possibly a reminder that against teams who are technically good we are going to have to work our socks off and defend well (both of which we did) to get anything (which we also did). We play Norwich next. Their parachute payment alone is several times our total income. We are competing, which is to our credit.

We surrendered to much ground in the 2nd half. Last week when Wiles played in the middle we looked a lot better kept the ball more he is the best player at the club. Breckin is always telling us on iFollow how good he is he knows what he is talking about. Crooks does not look good enough for this league when Batlaser is match fit he will take his place. Get another winger on Monday warney you know it makes sense.

Warney he's managing club like we're still in league 1. Crooks & Vassell that's their level. Ladapo won't get many tap-ins in the championship. Need a right wide player. Need cover at left back. Offload Vassell & get another forward in. Play Miller wide left & Sadlier at no. 10.

I've called him but yesterday Ladapo put a shift in. We are going to have play him lone forward & get ball to him not just lump it up. whiston01 Stradivarius for the Ark de Triomphe my tip. What do you reckon how it won last time got to have a chance in heavy ground.

What happened to Hirst, gru? Are you sending him back yet? Was the seven minutes you saw of him on telly a flash in the pan? When you wanted him in you said he was better than we already had. Now you want Ladapo as the lone striker, who you wanted out a couple of weeks ago, when it had to be Smith as the one up top. This is real life you know, not a computer game. Changing your mind every week has real consequences. And you're still talking as if you know better than the Manager. You aren't wired up right.

smiler I want us to be the best we can. Performances change my mind. Warney he doesn't change it quick enough. Never liked Crooks from day 1, he hasn't changed my mind. Vassell won't either. Got 2 weeks to mould us into a championship side.

You didn't answer about Hirst. You say stupid things and move on and conveniently forget them when they are shown to be stupid. You truly are an idiot. At the moment you are asking for Olosunde and Ladapo to play in the Championship. Last season you wanted them both shipping out when we were in League One. There is a very long list of players who have done really well for us after you have declared them useless. There is a list almost as long of players who you said were going to be the future and who actually did nothing. You know absolutely nothing about the game. We have 5 points from 4 games which is a steady start in a league which is a massive challenge for us because we are minnows in it. I repeat (which you also ignored) that this isnt a computer game, it is reality. Warne really does get judged on his decisions. He can't chop and change like you do in your bizarre virtual world. Imagine if you were the manager sitting down in front of Tony Stewart and giving him the same ******* you give us! You wouldn't last two minutes. My suggestion would be that you leave it to the people who actually know what they are doing a d get behind them instead of churning out your utter garbage week after week.

smiler Hirst I don't know that's my answer. Have we got time to get him up to speed? At the moment how I see it 4-4-1-1 Blackman; Olosunde Ihiekwe A McDonald Mattock or new left back; New wide right player Lindsay Barlaser Miller; Sadlier; Ladapo

Got two weeks to mould us into a championship side. That has to be one of the most ridiculous things you have said Gwru. Warne and his team have been moulding this club for years. Go to Parkgate when you can and watch the work that is done there. I had the privilege to hear Warne speak at the Rotherham minister to students who had just been presented with their degrees and honours and believe me he came across as inspirational and had a genuine flair for getting his message across. Football management is not just about picking a side,it's about getting the mix right on and off the field. Warne has done this spectacularly well and the teamwork he has developed is a testimony to this. Very few managers imo could have got the millers to the position we are now in. Tony Stewart knows this and has put not just his money but also his faith in Paul Warne and his staff.

The job of keeping us up in this division is massive and i think we are still one of the favourites to go down. I believe we have the best we can get guiding us to safety and although it will be tough i think we might just do it. Let us get behind the lads who pull on the shirt and put our faith in the men guiding them.

whiston01 actions speak louder than words. You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk! Warney looked a worried man to me on the touchline yesterday. Man up & get back to the home dugout. Whatever you want to call it our manager he's got to get the best out of his squad, that means discarding players he gets too close to. Still need cover at left back. Right wide player a priority. Up front replace Vassell.

Really interesting comments from Les Payne and Brecks yesterday about PW changing to the away dugout. A very smart move in their opinions, allowing Warnie to get in the ear of the Lino which had previously only been possible for the away manager. I think we'd all agree that those two know a thing or two about football. Interestingly, neither mentioned that it was anything to do with PW's wife at a certain Donny match!! Then again, they're probably Warney boys!!

Gwru I'm making a final effort to appeal to whatever brain cells you might have. Have opinions by all means, but put them forward as opinions not as if they are certain facts, and try to have a bit of balance. On any sensible view Warne and his staff are doing at least a reasonable (to deliberately understate it) job. That is obvious to all but a moron. Would it kill you to give them at least a bit of credit, or do you just have some deep psychological need for notoriety?

Before gwru dismisses Breck as a Warney Boy who knows nothing, I will just remind him that he once wanted Breckin appointing as Chief YouTube Talent Scout.
