I've said Mattock one of our better players yesterday. Only way we would have scored from one of our taller players. There was nothing coming from the wings. Nothing much up front. I've said how to play Sadlier. Hope by next game midfielder & forward signed. Need to build on yesterday's win. UTM

smiler I said Crooks wasn't a championship player. After yesterday he's got to prove he is. I like Lindsay he does the dirty work with a smile on his face. Blackman better. Ihiekwe, Robertson got better longer the game went on. Mattock couldn't fault. Lindsay & S McDonald same. Rest contributed without standing out.

Sorry to go over old ground but you also said Ihiekwe was a liability, Smith was a league two player, Barlaser was a waste of a loan signing, Ladapo will never change a game, Warne would never get us back up, Olosunde was never a footballer, Bailey-King Hinds and Lamy were the next stars of world football and hundreds of other things that have turned out to be totally wrong. THMiller asked for a bit more humour on the site and 'gwru knows his football' is about as funny as it gets, so to be fair to him he has practiced what he preached 😂.

smiler I'm right about Crooks though up to now aren't I? He could change my mind like others you've mentioned. They are instant opinions 1st time I see a player. Blackman he's changed my mind next game. Sadlier isn't a left winger but could play role behind loan forward. Good to watching Roth U again even though it's only on I follow.

Your 'instant opinions' make you look daft so often.  It is as if you have to be first in to give you some kudos if you guess right, which is quite needy of you.

Crooks has played about 90 minutes of football so far this season. Footballers are human beings.  They carry injuries sometimes and have ups and downs in form for all sorts of reasons.  He didn't have much of an impact yesterday but I wouldn't rush to judge him or any other player over such a small space of time.

I know that you think you know better than them, but about 400 of his fellow professionals thought Crooks was one of the best dozen or so players in League One last season and his record was very good.  All indications are that he can be a good Championship footballer.  Time will tell.  I (and most others) hope he can do well because he plays for our team and puts plenty in.  You on the other hand seem to want him to fail so that you can shout 'I told you so', which is a bit odd.

I don't know why so you're so obsessed with being right gwru, especially when you never are. You make yourself look stupid on daily basis yet you never learn.

Warney think he's got something there that'll work for us. Play 4-4-1-1 formation with 2 midfield players sitting, doing the dirty work & other behind the lone striker. Would love us to sign Barlaser & Ross Stewart, we'd hold our own then in the championship.

Tell us all about Ross Stewar gwru.  How many times have you seen him play (live or otherwise)?  What sort of player is he?  What is it about him that will make us a better side?  What sort of wages would he want and how would he fit into our structure?

Only watched his goals on u tube but he's about 6ft 2 & that's round his correct height. He's good in the air. 23 age looks a player with scope to me. Think he'd cost min' £500,000 he'd want same as top earners here.

That's good enough for me - sign him up.

Sorted.

What loan striker? We don't have one.

You've pulled that straight out of your arse, you haven't a clue what he'd cost or what wage he'd want.

Which signings would they be Gwru can you remind us? It’s just that I don’t think you’ve mentioned it since yesterday a big lad up front cos Smiths crap a midfielder cos MacDonald and Crooks are crap but Wiles and Lindsay aren’t for some reason and Mattocks crap even though he made the goal yesterday and if you care to look on wiki you’ll find he’s played most of his career in the championship but don’t let that hinder your opinion

In my amigo's defence he said Smith made a difference when he came in plus Mattock was one of our better players. Maybe sat on the sofa eating crisps for 3 to 4 months helped clear up that back injury he had last season in my humble opinion one of our elite players.

What a plank. 'Somehow we got that win'.  Which was it this time - were the opposition crap or were we lucky?  Or both?  One thing is for sure, it can't be because we earned or deserved it.  Get back on You Tube or Fantasy Football or wherever you do your best work. Better still **** off and follow Gillingham.

I'll do tomorrows posts for you to save you the bother.  Big forrud needed, central midfielder and another left back.  See if I'm right.  Players got to be picked on merit - no more old pals act.  Blah blah blah effing blah.
