Memo to Tony Stewart

Mark Robins 5'6", Adam Le Fondre 5'8", Ben Pringle 5'7", Kieran Agard 5'8", none of them were giants and all did well for the club, and that's just off the top of my head.

Another player who wasn't the tallest but did well for Rotherham in two spells was... dare I say it... Paul Warne

Changing the goalposts to suit you agenda.

According to the stats, Jon Taylor is 1.8m or 5'9" anyway, so yet again, you're wrong.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jon-taylor/profil/spieler/137589

But you'll just ignore that won't you?

Just like you can tell if a player will be the next Pele after 90 seconds, you can also measure their height accurately just by looking at them.

Just because you say so, that's it? Fact? It doesn't work like that.

Tell TC to get his tape measure out. If Taylor or Clarke are taller than 5ft 4 my £100 it's on it's way to any charity of his choice!

I personally don't think Taylor looks 5'9" but I'm more inclined to believe a football stats website than a man with a proven track of record of being wrong all the time who drags all his 'facts' out of his anus.

The stats say Clarke is 5'4" which is why I never argued it as there is proper evidence to back it up. You took a guess and got lucky though.

Remember when you demanded Clarke be in the starting line up before he'd even signed because you're such an expert and you can spot them who have it? What did you base that opinion on?

When Taylor signed for us I was looking for this 5ft 10 player. Not being cruel but thought he was the ball boy. He's definitely not taller than 5ft 4. Clarke I can't remember what I said about him but I've hardly seen him play. Paul Hurst wasn't that tall but he had enough quality to play over 400 games for us.

You don't know for definite, you're just guessing, as you always do.

You can't remember what you said about Clarke because it completely contradicts what you're saying about him now and it's shows up your 'I can spot a player in 2 mins' for what it is, a load of crap. You hardly saw Lamy play but you judged him to be pretty much the next Ballon D'or.

Like many of these threads the OP is lost five posts in. So back to that OP you are talking nonsense - PW has once again got us promoted and only a complete idiot would sack him. So I don't agree with you. I think others should either contend your point or ignore you if they feel you are reverting to type which is generally to somehow consider what 98% of the world thinks logically and then go Jonny Opposite on it for attention.

You want a new tape measure or are you making things up again. Paul Hirst was a very good full back I can remember Ronnie Moore saying about him if he had been 3 inches taller he would have played at a lot higher level. Just goes to prove in some cases the height of a player does matter.

And here's Ernie. The one with the short fat hairy legs. Another instituallised individual who worked for a subsidised nationalised company, who has never been anywhere or done anything with their life, who constantly bleats about his state of health. Maybe if your priority in life wasn't to get 'a gallon of ale darn thi neck in' t boozer on a Satdi' things could have been different.

I hope you never get anything wrong with you it is really pathetic having a go at someone with health problems. Very happy with the life I have even this lockdown manged ok. Very familiar pattern if someone rattles your cage just make things up about them I suppose it is my turn if it makes you happy carry on.

I’ve hardly seen them play? What are you on about? Not only do I go to all home games (mean all) I sometimes go away. Which means I watch them more than you do.

Whoever came up with that was he bribed or leave his guide dog at home! If Taylor is taller than 5ft 4 I'm 6ft 4 if we are adding 5 inches to your height.

If you measured Jon Taylor yourself and he was 5’9” you’d just argue the tape measure was wrong then, it’s just the kind of person you are.

Strange that Wikipedia and transfermarkt also say that he is 1.80 metres tall. Everyone else is wrong and you are right? Not for the first time.
