Whatever is left of his brain has probably imploded on reading that retained list.

Plenty of clubs had a look at Lamy. We were the one who took a punt on him. He wasnt going to feature next season and he needs to play football. He agitated a bit for his loan move to Wimbledon and understandably so. He now has a chance to impress elsewhere. If gwru is right there will be a host of Championship clubs waiting to offer him a deal. Surely he is not the only expert who rates him? We shall see. My guess is that if he stays I British football he might be playing in League Two next season. I hope he gets a good club whatever division it is in and does well. Personally I think that Billy Jones is fortunate to be offered a new deal.

I agree that Jones is fortunate, but assuming the contract is appearance based, then I can see the logic in it. He rarely has a bad game when he is fit and can cover both full back positions.

As for Lamy, I liked him when I saw him play(not to the creepy levels of gwru) and would've liked to see him maybe brought on in a few more games, but Warne saw him everyday and obviously didn't think he was up to it, and neither did the Wimbldeon manager. I'll trust their judgement. Good luck to him in future.

Just a thought if the second choice goalkeeper is employed not to play. At 70 can I apply for the job?

It seems Lewis Price lacks ambition if he happy to train and not play. Not the kind of attitude I would want at my club.

I am surprised that we are offering Billy Jones a contract considering his injury problems. I sometimes forget he is our player when going through the squad.

Lewis Price hasn't been the permanent regular number one since he was at Ipswich and he left there in 2007!

He's only made 75 appearances in the following 13 years.

If I was Doncaster I'd look at Lamy. He's better on the right. Potentially better than Taylor.

Maybe Oxford could look at him to replace Forde as well?

Taylor doesn't even play for us anymore and you still want him out of the team of the club he's moved to!

Here's an idea, leave him in the past, forget about him.

Can't. Keeping Williams out of the side still trying to work it out!

I assume Barlaser is not eligible to play for Newcastle until next season? Watching them now, he could not possibly be worse than their midfield, and they waste their set plays where Barlaser can deliver a good cross...

Based on the possession stats I'm not sure why Newcastle even bothered playing a midfield David.

As average as Newcastle are I think it would be a huge jump for him to get into their side after a couple of loan spells in league one. Needs a year of championship football if Newcastle are genuinely serious about him featuring. Hopefully that year is with us.

Don't want us hanging about for Barlaser all summer. See midfielder we want & we can get him go for it. Forget about Barlaser then. Midfielder we need a Vaulks type get his foot in who can take free kicks, corners. See Vaulks he's taking corners for Cardiff, good uns as well. Warney take a leaf out of Warnocks book don't wait for anyone, move on. At Middlesbrough Gustede he asked him to stay with his contract ending tomorrow. The player said he wasn't prepared to do that so Warnock said you might as well go home now.
