Still available via the o/s for anybody who didnt see it and wants to. Obviously they are going to be a bit guarded but it definitely provided an insight into what they are trying to achieve and how they go about things. There is so much more than we see that goes into making a squad successful. The 90 minutes we get to see is the culmination of it all but it was interesting to hear them talk about what senior players and leaders bring to the party day to day. They are obviously aware of the size of the task that faces us next season but not daunted by it. It is great that the club puts this sort of thing out there and that the management team is willing to take part. Top marks all round.
Didn't answer my question about Lamy! I don't know if it works having players just here cause they are good in the dressing room. Warney on about McDonald the player like he's going to influence the side next season when in reality he's not. Think they only answered questions that fitted in with the Warney good human beings philosophy.
*******s gwru. You dont like Warne and you have made that abundantly clear. If he got us promoted from the Championship it would be because the pandemic had made everybody else worse and you'd be saying 'I will judge him on what he does in the Premier League'. They do a good thing opening up to the supporters and here you go again with your negativity and criticism.
I and others try to start threads in the hope that we might get proper discussion going but you drag all threads down the same path. You are just an out and out spoiler. It's as boring as it is predictable.
I thought I did well. Got it on my phone went through Facebook to get my question in, didn't take long. It was entertaining enough. Just I'd like to have heard more about type of players we need to bring in.
PW was very open about the type of players he'd like to bring in! His primary concern is wingers - competition for Ogbene and a left winger. On the latter, he likes utility so someone who could cover left back. He thinks we are fine defensively. Midfield and up front will depend on who moves on, who is available and cost. He even gave us an indication of where we are looking - which included most of Europe. Not sure what else gwru expects apart from naming his targets and how much he's been given to spend - after which gwru would delight in telling us all that Warne is too open and compromising our ability to bring in the right players.
I'm afraid Smiler is correct. Every thread is hyjacked by gwru and his alter ego and the discussion moves away from the OP and ends up being a debate about how anti and stupid they both are. Boring, frustrating and the key reason many decent posters don't frequent the site anymore. Hope they're proud of their efforts!
Waste of time I suppose it makes the warney fans happy. Didn't see it 1 hour of happy clapping not for me looks as if gwru question about Lamy was side stepped he will not be here next season. My guess future signings will be out of contact plus loans dosn't bode well.
He won’t have even told Lamy if he’s getting a new contract or not yet so he certainly isn’t going to tell you. Surely even your brain can work that out?
What's this plan Tony Stewart has come up with for last season refunds as I have said before the club can have my money. Plus same price for 20/21 get mine today if I could.
Lamy he's going to make it to championship level at least with or without us while we pay good money out for players who won't or can't now.
You've been wrong about so many players. Most of our first team who you have written off and they have come good, and quite a lot of young players who you insist on tipping for stardom before they have really shown anything.
Lamy is a young player who we signed from French semi-professional football who has made five appearances in senior football - four of them as a substitute. He has played less than a game and a half in total in League One.
Tell me if I am wrong, but you have seen play against a Doncaster reserve team and for ten minutes as a sub when we were already 3-0 up. On the strength of that you think you have seen something that the three or four Championship clubs he had trials with, our coaching staff and the staff at Wimbledon have all missed.
Serious question - why do you persist with this notion that you have a magic eye for a footballer? What is it about you that means that you can see more in 90 minutes of a reserve team game than professional coaches who see them in training day in and day out can glean? Do you not see how absurd that is?
The lad might come good and make it. I hope he does. But at the present moment in time he seems to have a lot of work to do to get there. Let him get on with that instead of crowning him as the new Ronaldinho before he has kicked a ball in anger.

Quite frankly gwru I don't know why you bother watching Rotherham United. We've got the wrong manager, and coaching staff, we get rid of good players and sign rubbish.
When we win its not because we were good, but because the opposition were worse. We were never going to get promoted this season just gone, but if we did, it would have been because the rest of the league was poor.
In addition promotion was a day dream despite being in top spot for an extended period and were sitting in second place at lockdown.
Promotion, when it came, was because of Covid 19 and nothing to do with our points tally. And the method of deciding the season was all so unfair on other teams much further down the table because they just might have turned their fortunes around and breezed past us and Coventry City and walked away with the well deserved title.
We, in your estimation, would have finished below the play off places and Warney should be sacked.
Even I wouldn't support a team with that sort of carry on
You might not like this he is a long standing season ticket holder he is entitled to his opinion. Where you there when we nearly went bust I presume he did I did the same. If he wants to see Lamy get a chance that is up to him. I know a lot of supporters where I come from don't follow our manager like a little lost puppy does that mean you are not a millers fan. Strange world some of you live in.
I love the club. Want us to be the best we can be. I have an eye for a winner check my Ascot winner today. I understand we've got to work within our means. Lamy to me he's worth the risk of a years contract to see if he realises his potential. We have some good young players coming through just need side strengthening were needed with players good enough. Leave that to whose getting paid to find those players.

There were more people than you who 'were there when we nearly went bust', and I am not sure why you keep bringing that up.
It would be lovely if he said he wanted Lamy to get a chance. Perfect. he doesn't though, does he? He says over and over again that on the basis of one appearance in a reserve game he is going to be a top Championship player. He did the same thing with Bailey-King. And Hinds. He is about to do the same thing with Kayode and Cooper.
Going on from that and constantly making it part of some bizarre conspiracy theory to do with cones, green tea and Warney's Boys is irritating.
He is always so certain he is right, but is almost always wrong.
Add it all together, and that way does madness lie.
Try to make it is as simple as I can for you if supporters had not shown any interest in the club at that time no club. When you keep getting told you are not a fan because you don't follow everything this manager says my 1 brain cell tells me different.
