When we got Barlaser on loan last season seen him play knew he was decent I said so at the time. This player it doesn't look right to me we seem to be rushing into it plenty of time. Yates looks to be on the move a few clubs interested how come we look to be the only team going for this signing.

According to gwru Mikkel Miller must be crap because he might be signing for us, and if he was any good we wouldn't be able to get him. Would that not apply by definition to every player we ever sign? In the next breath he will be criticising us for not getting Championship quality players in. Priceless. By the way gwru, they tend to put highlights on highlights clips. There wont be much footage of him doing ordinary things in ordinary games. That doesn't make good viewing. You need to rethink your YouTube scouting techniques.
whiston01 I've watched 2 clips of Miller on u tube. Got a good left foot scored on both occasions. Don't think he scores that many. Standard of football in Scotland is questionable. Way my minds working if he was that good would we get him? Clubs bigger than us will have seen him. We wouldn't have a chance of signing him if he looked a decent level championship player.

Hang on, 2 of your favourite players from recent seasons, Vaulks and Lindsay (who in your previous post you said we should build the midfield around) were both signed from 'questionable' Scottish football.
By the same logic, if they were that good, how did we get them? What's the difference this time?
(Don't worry, I don't actually expect a coherent answer)
We took a chance on Vaulks & Lindsay. But in the case of Vaulks Stubbs will have seen enough of him. Just hope if we sign Miller we've seen enough of him that he can do a job for us wide left in the championship.

Vaulks and Lindsay were both signed from clubs in the Scottish Championship. Not even in the questionable Scottish Premier League, which is where Miller has been playing. The truth is that we cant necessarily compete with the big money clubs for established players, so we have to rely on our scouts to find us an Ajayi, Ogbene, Olosunde, Clarke, Lamy etc here and there - players who have potential to improve and make it. Our recent record in that regard is good but they arent all going to work out. That's how it is. Thanks to TH Miller by the way for confirming that we are the only club interested in this player. Spoken as if it is fact, so it must be true.
Strikers we need another one. Move Vassell on. Go with Smudger Ladapo Kayode. New striker we need a big mother, good enough. One thing these big time charlie championship centre backs don't like it's being roughed up!
Not forgetting Ihiekwe, Smith and Crooks who all came from clubs below us in the ladder and are much better players now than when we signed them. When you look at it, we have done pretty well in the transfer market in recent seasons.
You crack me up with your double standards gru. I have the memory of an elephant, not a goldfish. I remember Warne making a comment that Smith had impressed him when he came on for the last 20 minutes for Bury. Off you toddled to Wikipedia and Youtube, and you came to the conclusion that he was pants, and that Warne shouldn't be signing players after seeing them for 20 minutes. Did you consider that after that 20 minutes the club may have watched him for an extended period? And then you see your boys for 90 seconds, and you have such a gift that you can watch a player for 90 seconds and produce a judgement.
But then. 'Warney' can't spot a player like you can.
Strikers we need another one. Move Vassell on. Go with Smudger Ladapo Kayode. New striker we need a big mother, good enough. One thing these big time charlie championship centre backs don't like it's being roughed up!
You've said something stupid and contradictory (again!) and you've been called out on it, so you're just doing your normal trick of changing the subject, pretending it never happened and ploughing on regardless with your mad rambles. We can all see it and we're bored to death of it so just pack it in. It's tragic to watch.
realmiller go & take dog for a walk or dig garden if you are bored! Take Evans you can all say what you like about him but Warney he's never got a side together to match Evans sides that got us up & kept us up.
Going to try to tell you how to approach next season. Play to our strengths. Ogbene/ Olosunde on the right but need to cover gap that will between them at times. Ihiekwe Robertson hopefully fit. Lindsay out our midfield players can do a job in the championship. Wiles hope he comes good next season in midfield. After that need strengthening Keeper Left back Midfielder Wide Left player Big striker. Cover as well. We can only play 4-5-1 in the championship, one front player needs the physicality to cope. Lamy another player hopefully we take the option to extend his contract whose got the potential to adapt to the championship along with Cooper & Kayode. That's the recipe to stay in the championship. Remember who told it you 1st!
Explain to me why we have been told no signing until August as they used to say in the old cowboy films he speaks with forked tongue. Why the rush info I have seen he can play midfield wide or striker jack of all trades master of none. Remember one of our manager's signature signings Palmer what happened to him to me another cheap as chips deal.
Why do you change the subject when you've said something stupid and been picked up on it? Is it embarrassment, or just trolling?
My last post tonight. I'm just saying how it is. Evans sides did what he brought them together for they achieved their objectives. I'm never embarrassed. Say what you want it's like water off a ducks back to me. I do listen to people on here who go to the away games. I haven't got all the answers.
