Sooner have Max Miller that a non-scoring forward from Scottish football were the standard apart from the old firm is hardly championship.
I would just remind you gwru that Will Vaulks, who as we all know is the greatest footballer ever to wear a Rotherham shirt, was picked up by us from the Scottish Championship - a division below the one that this lad Miller has played in with Hamilton.
I would also remind you that before you had seen him play you wrote Michael Smith off as a journeyman non-scoring striker when we signed him from Bury.
Why are you always in such a hurry to either dismiss players as useless or big them up as the next big superstar?
Seeing as Vaulks went for the most transfer money ever for a millers player gwru knows his stuff. With all the forwards we are interested in can't play with Smith as the lone striker we have got to dip our toe in the opposition half sometimes. Will Gregg is the latest swap for Yeats no Sunderland cast-offs for me.

I have no idea how good or bad Mikel Miller is. He scored freely in non league football ( a goal every three games). Hamilton took a punt on him and he has had a couple of seasons with them i believe. It looks like he has turned down the offers from them. I think he was on a hiding to nothing being a striker for Hamilton in the Scottish premier. They only scored 30 goals this season and finished next to bottom (good achievement). He once had a trial for Sheffield Wednesday and other clubs were looking at him. No doubt a risk but there will be better people than me watching him. If we decide to go for him i hope we all give him a chance and don't write him off before he has kicked a ball.
Smiler, i said on a previous post let Gwru and T.H get on with it. It's pointless trying to have a discussion. I have been posting for a while on an o/t post on horse racing as i believed Gwru had a vast knowledge of all things horse racing. Take a look and see if you think he has. I would love your opinion as i rate it highly as i do a lot on here.
Defo agree
With players needed
My only issue is if we repeat playing one up front it wont work we always lose the ball
Yes we maybe over run sometimes in midfield
We could play with wingbacks which would allow an extra striker
Tilt Robertson ikky back three
Olosonde right wing back matlock or another left wing back
Play ogbene wiles another in middle with Smith and ladapo up front

For the umpteenth time you missed the point. The point is that gwru in hos wisdom rules out any player from Scottish football, but forgets that his favourite player in our recent history came from the second tier of Scottish football. As, byt he way, di Lindsay who he also rates highly. Where is the logic in that? There isn't any. that is the point.
Kieffer Moore hadn't scored a league goal for Ipswich when we took him on loan. As Calypso says Ronnie Moore couldn't buy a goal at Cardiff but scored a sack full for us. Alan Shearer scored about 20 in 120 games for Southampton before his career took off at Blackburn.
I don't know if we are interested in Mikkel Miller or not, and I have never seen him play so can't express an opinion on him. Unlike gwru however I am not going to dismiss the lad as useless simply on the basis of his goals per game record for a team that just about hangs on in the Scottish Premier League. That would be stupid.

Put my question on about Lamy, never put to the 3. smiler I just look at Miller & Griggs we don't need them got Ladapo we need a big nasty mother up front whose good enough for the championship.
Been watching the first half of the prem match have some sympathy with players football will not start until fans are allowed back in. Very happy we have escaped the playoffs.
Not a great start to football returning the1st match ref forgot to put a battery in his watch. Next game Arsenal 2 players injured early on players no where near match fit. Take a note Mr Warne with this 6 month layoff need to arrange some proper game time. No good turning up at the start of next season without it got to get back to a more normal way of doing things. The threat from this virus from anyone under 40 is very low.
