Can't let that go. Do I say anything offensive? not like 2 posters I've mentioned. I've got a different opinion how to move this club forward unless that's all you want another relegation championship season. That's wearing thin enough fans want different to that.

No me neither, but then again I hadn't heard of Crooks, Ogbene and others that turned out to be good - as I said early in the thread, I think Scotty & team seem to be better at finding decent guys. (you can't always get it right - look at Lukaku for Man U etc, doesn't matter who you are or what you pay sometimes..)

We can only back him and hope he does well. He looks good on paper, can play on either wing so assuming he plays in front of Mattock (we still need back-up for Mattock at left back), we have both wings sorted...

Welcome to the club same as the other 2 posters know very little about him. Right age hope he can do a job on the left where we are woefully short. With this long layoff which could be nearly 6 months for us need some good news on the recruitment side, I have my doubts about how good Scottish football is Vaulks was a great signing though and that full back now playing at Preston ( memory gone ) so we will have to see.

Judging by his photo with the scarf this must have been done a week or two back.

Hope he does well, will need to improve but a good age to do it and gives us more options out wide.

Blackpool bid for Jerry Yates.

Few rumours its not far off £400,000 which would be the best bit of business we have done for a while, especially for a player who's never really fit in to our plans and is out of contract in 12 months.

Rumours on Twitter that Bristol City are interested in Lapado if the price is right he will be gone that is football. I can remember when we sold Fortund West to Cardiff City people we're getting their knickers in a twist over it then John Breckin found Alan Lee in Aston Villa reserves spent nearly all of that money on him. The point I am trying to make is not the end of the world if he went.

Would take the Ladapo rumour with a pinch of salt. Bristol City don't even have a manager at the minute.

Sean Goss. 24 midfielder from Shrewsbury see if there's any truth in it? Good height.

Nothing on OS yet but apparently Blackpool to sign Yates.

Hope we got a decent fee for our own transfer deal coffers...

Sorry to see Yates go another young player who never got a fair crack of the whip. When our manager first took over he made a big point with the training facilities he was going to bring the young ones through where are they. In my very small way I have a go on mayday as far as I know the money goes to supporting the youth teams. That is why I go to friendlies cup matches only chance I get to see them in action as far as I am concerned the kids are alright.

I think you have to look at what chance Yates was given at R.U.F.C. before making a comment like' he was never given a fair chance'. Yates made 47 appearances in the championship and league one for us in his time here. He scored on two occasions. Since moving down the leagues he has scored well and found his level. Whether he can do it for Blackpool in Division one is another matter.

As for who has come off best us or Blackpool re Tilt for us and Yates for them. I think it's fair to say Tilt was an established central defender for Blackpool playing 99 times for them and winning player of the year awards. He has picked up an injury and hasn't been able to show his worth yet. Give him a chance and see what we are saying around May 2021. I believe we have the best deal. Yates imo would never be a championship player. Tilt on the other hand could well make the step up. I know a couple of Blackpool fans and they were very disappointed to lose Tilt. They believe he is far superior to Robertson who they constantly tell me is slow and will get skinned easily in the championship, which he did at times. Give Tilt a chance and good luck to Jerry. I believe we have done well to get 200k if that is what we have got.

whiston01 I said it at the time why wasn't Tilt playing for Blackpool before we signed him? Can't believe we signed an injured player. Now they say he's got same injury as Andy Murray, he's not got back from that. Yates could be anything. Never got a run in our side so watch this space. Vassell he's surplus to me. Not good enough.

Isn't 47 games in a millers shirt enough . I think he is a decent division 2 player who could be ok in the first division. We are now in the championship, so as you say we have to get better players.

If Cardiff go up via playoffs, do we also get extra dosh for Vaulks does anyone know?

Hopefully building a nice transfer market coffer...
