He has almost got it all, Jordan Bowery. Big enough, quick enough, athletic enough and on the face of it some ability. But he has never quite performed consistently at any level. At 28 he should be at his best. I hope it goes well for him.
As we know it is dangerous to make snap judgments about players, but Osew was outstandingly good against us at the NYS and handled Ogbene as well as any full-back I saw last season. He had plenty of pace about him and posed an attacking threat as well as defending well. I saw Wimbledon at home to Ipswich mid-season while I was working down in London and in a pretty dull game Osew and the Wimbledon keeper were the stand out Dons players that night. He is 19, quick and very left footed.
One thing is certain warne cannot play 4 5 1 again. Against championship defenders smith will be marked out of game
I would go 3 5 2 giving the defenders two strikers to mark
Play Lindsey as holding midfielder
Centre back iky Robertson tilt
2 new full backs wing backs

Agree Hillsborough.
Obviously depends of who we bring in too, but season before last (in Championship) showed we can't get enough points by trying to defend and hope we 'pinch one' with only one up front. We look best when we have two strikers, with Crooks and Ogbene bombing forward to support front two.
Not sure about 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 or whatever, but no point in trying to bore-draw our way to survival, there aren't enough points in that style...
Only way we'll play 2 up front is especially left hand side play more narrow. another; Olosunde Ihiewke Robertson another; Ogbene Lindsay another another; two up front? but need some physicality there.
What about Matt Crooks gwru? He was the leading goalscoring midfielder in League One last season and I saw an article the other day that had him in a League One team of the year as voted for by club scouts. But what would they know? they haven't got your depth of insight or professional experience.
You decided after your usual ten minutes that you didn't rate Crooks. I notice that in another thread recently you again labelled him 'slow'. That is something you have repeatedly said despite evidence to the contrary including reporting the data that the staff produce from training sessions and analysis. Now we have a couple of ANOther's in your proposed lineup and no mention of Crooks.
You are obviously stubbornly determined to argue that Crooks isn't up to it. If you could persuade them to spend more than ten seconds with you, I suggest that you ask his colleagues what they think of Matt Crooks as a footballer. You might be surprised. But then again, you proabably know better than them aswell.
smiler when I saw Crooks 1st get on as substitute for us after transfer window Jan 2019 he looked slow. Vaulks was no quicker but he'd got more to his game. You've either got it or you haven't when you get to that age 24 when Crooks signed for us. Crooks will never be in my opinion a championship player at a club that's got ambitions to establish themselves there.
