Football, when is it going to return?

smiler I've never knocked Olosunde Barlaser Smudger. Ihiekwe I've said he's been player of this season. I'm not massive on Crooks or Ladapo not for the championship. I'd get shut of Vassell Price Jones Clarke McDonald.

You wrote Ihiekwe off totally after the playoff semi against S****horpe. I don't have the time or inclination to search out your posts, but you made it quite clear that he was nowhere near good enough to don an RUFC shirt. Some of us, however, saw his potential and welcomed his loan period to Accrington where he fulfilled our expectations and came back to be a star. Rather than saying the first thing that comes into your head, how about a bit of consideration and consistency? Smiler/realmiller - the Benoulli effect is drawing me in - Help!

As GlennMiller says gwru, you wanted Ihiekwe out after the playoff semi against Scunny and didnt want him back from Accrington. You quickly wrote Barlaser off as lightweight. As RealMiller says, you wrote Olosunde off after a pre-season friendly. As you always say, you think you can judge a player after five minutes. As for Smith, I think it has been pointed out to you more than once on MillersMad that you went on that site when we signed him and derided the signing of someone you said was a league two quality striker on the cheap. Do you remember that? By the way, adding Clarke and MacDonald that is 18 write offs/wastes of space we have in the ranks of a promotion placed squad. Surely a record! It's incredible really that you still believe you know the first thing about the game.

I know this is very hard for some of you to understand and you are trying to do a demolition job we do not all kiss the feet of your hero. If it keeps you entertained I am happy for you. I am more interested in having a team to support probably with the current in***bent in charge of the team. How many of you are going to get a season ticket next season. I am always the same I hope to be first in line can't wait better than Christmas. UTM

Nice diversion tactic THMiller, but your sidekick invites this sort of 'demolition job' as you put it. In fact he probably enjoys the attention. He posts endless repetitive garbage whilst professing to be more right than wrong and to be the best judge of a player the world has ever known. In fact his dismal track record suggests he knows next to nothing, but that doesn't stop his relentless rubbish. He consistently attacks players and a manager who have very evidently done a good job and he fails to give even an ounce of credit to them, which is just irritating.  He should have been thrown off this site a long time ago. Many good posters have given up because of him. As for you, I'm not surprised you are buying a season ticket. You are after all the only true supporter on here as you keep telling us. And I suppose it gives you something to moan about.

Upping quality a notch next championship season in certain positions with a manager with a open mind should aid us to compete up a level. Got to release players, move players on not up to that level. I've got high hopes for Cooper Lamy Kayode making the breakthrough. Hope we are all there to see it when the show gets back on the road.

If you are going to lambast someone it might be polite to spell their name correctly.

THMiller, do you read other peoples posts? The posters who are generally supportive of Warne regularly say that they dont agree with everything he says or does, and freely admit that he makes mistakes. Do you understand that? It isnt pro-Warne vs anti-Warne. It's reasonable people vs unreasonable people. Gwru wont answer because he hasnt got one, so can you help me out? How have we got to second in the league with an idiot for a manager and seventeen players who either shouldn't have been signed or should have been shown the door?

smiler how are we in 2nd place? Because what worked outweighed what didn't. Losing Barlaser wasn't as big a loss as losing Ihiekwe. We had cover in midfield. Warney failed us in the January transfer window nobody can tell me different.

Nobody can ever tell.you different gwru, that's for sure. 'The things that worked outweighed the things that didnt'. Lol. That's also for sure, and by quite a wide margin. You dont get to second with seventeen numpties without getting a lot of things right. Isn't that otherwise known as good management?

You might be surprised to hear that I didn't particularly rate Adelakun and Koroma either, I don't think they added a great deal overall. I haven't seen enough of Tilt yet to pass judegment (and neither have you). To say Warne failed us in the transfer window is ridiculous, we were already top of the league at the time and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. We only lost one game from seven after the window shut so the 'failure' obviously had a massive effect didn't it? I know you don't like facts though...

You might also be surprised to hear that I really liked the look of Lamy when I saw him and would haved like to have seen him from the bench a bit more than we did, but I could also see he was very raw and perhaps not ready for league football yet. You've just done your normal trick of picking a young lad who isn't in the team and claiming that he's the messiah so that if he ends up being any good you can claim you knew he was great all along. You did it with Yates, Bailey-King, Hinds, Wiles, Lamy, and now you're onto Kayode and Cooper. The law of averages says you'll get one right (Wiles by the looks of it) but it's nothing to do with you having any football knowledge, it's just a case of 'if you throw enough sh*t at the wall, some of it will stick.'

And you throw a LOT.

Warney had the Ajayi/Vaulks money so he'd have to have been a clown not to get it half right which he about did. But his failed signings in the end showed our shortcomings.

We are 2nd and we have 9 games to play plus where was the momentum driving us to automatic promotion. The millers fans I talked to all came to the same conclusion should make the playoffs not good enough to go up. I don't hate our leader not like some I know the signiings in the last transfer window were poor. Last match I went to asked supporter what he thought of the winger from Bristol City reply was send him back. We might still go up if the EFL ever gets it's act together I might get used to using a key board who knows

As you know gwru, Warne wasnt allowed to spend very much of the Vaulks/Ajayi money. That's a misleading argument. Another way to look at it is that he had to rebuild a side on a limited budget having lost his best players. Obviously you have gone for a spin that reflects poorly on Warne because that is your agenda. You talk a lot of **** as well as throwing it.

Your mate Clough by the way had several seasons at the Blades with the biggest budget in League One and couldnt get them out of it.

Only a lunatic would sack a manager who had guided a team into the top two, and thankfully Tony Stewart isn't a lunatic. It's a completely pointless discussion that isn't worth having.
