A valiant effort RealMiller but, alas, you are banging your head against a brick wall. The Village Idiot of this small village that is Millers Banter ignores fact, instantly moves on and forgets every time he gets things wrong (which is almost always) and ploughs on regardless. A word to the wise from someone who falls into the trap more often than he should, but him and his alter ego will suck the life out of you if you let them. Try not to take them too seriously.

I know, I know, he's sucked me into his strange little world and I shouldn't have let him, but it's difficult to sit back and watch somebody post such complete and utter cr*p and not question it.

That EFL meeting has been put back to Monday, June 8th how I read the statement only going to change regulation for this ppg all 3 divisions have to vote for it. I smell a rat we will end up playing this season out not got a clue when division 1 then next season.

...I smell a Rat too...

Couldn't make it up how incompetent EFL have been over this. Inviting clubs to comment by 2nd June will just lead to more appeals from the Grubby6 and others muddying the water.

They should have said - on 8th June you must vote to either complete the season, and if so all clubs find £500k for testing etc , with no income as it will be behind closed doors, OR, vote to end on PPG with 4 teams below top 2 in playoffs at Wembley, bottom 2 relegated.. No other options will be considered....

But no, they just delay and keep it ambiguous... ****ing spineless idiots...

Same old EFL can't make a decision I am in total agreement with my fellow village idiot. If we do play the season out get the young ones in nothing to lose. Give Lamy a 12 month extension to his contract he is a lot better than the 2 clowns we signed on loan in the last transfer window. As I said we will not go up but we can give those players experience for next season.

realmiller I stand corrected sounds like our loans out can't be involved in the run-in if this season restarts. My excuse I just skip through what Warney says. Same with Wood. Basically there's nothing there I can gain from. I listen to people mainly: NH horseracing who have an open mind not just play the old pals act.

Started off reasonable; tailed off slightly in the middle and the less said about the end, the better!

My very tiny knowledge about loans is that you can only play for your own club and one loan why is that you can bring them back for injuries and sell them in the transfer window. Div 2 is over so the loans are back with their parent club. As the number 2 village idiot I am waiting to be corrected.

It's a strange coincidence that the people who refuse to give Warne ANY credit, also can't string a coherent sentence together.

When I was working never got any credit only the sack if I got things wrong. Approved turner for Rolls-Royce when the firm shut down my employment record was checked only went back 3 years late never time off sick never scrap jobs none. Warney gets it wrong all of the time but you can't say anything in the real world things are a lot harsher.

Its all very frustrating but it seems that on 8th June all 71 EFL clubs are going to vote on promotion for the top two, relegation for the bottom three and a four team playoff competition. You may think this was done last week, but apparently it was just the EFL board, not the clubs. Following the discord fomented by Peterborough last week, the EFL board decided that the full vote is needed to prevent litigation by clubs whose performance on the pitch is eclipsed by their arrogance. There seems to be little doubt that this promotion/relegation arrangement will be passed (good) - even including League Two who voted for no relegation. On the following day, 9th June, each of the three EFL leagues will vote separately as to whether to curtail or play on. Several sports reporters have predicted how that vote will go in League One and the consensus is 15 votes for curtailment and 8 votes for playing on (excellent).

The main question is why is this happening now and not six weeks ago?

And those who are suggesting that the Millers are lucky to be promoted should reflect on the fact that we are the only club to have occupied a promotion berth for the whole of 2020 and the bookies had Coventry and Rotherham as the two odds-on favourites for promotion when football was stopped and the others at odds of about 5 to 1. And of course, we are by far the best team in League One.

Is Warney Dominic ***mings in disguise! Unsackable! Last season he got it wrong from the start. No left hand side all season. Playing Wiles there. Only got away with that cause this league was that poor. All we had to do was play 4-5-1 with Lamy on the right. Ogbene on the left. Keep pressure off the defence. That's without mentioning abysmal January transfer window.

Considering that according to you gwru at least sixteen of the people who played a part in our season (Warne, Price, Olosunde, Mattock, Jones, Wood, Tilt, Ihiekwe, Thompson, Barlaser, Crooks, Vassell, Ladapo, Adelukan, Koroma and Smith) should either never have been signed or should have been shown the door a long time ago, it really is a minor miracle that we got anywhere near the top two.

smiler I've never knocked Olosunde Barlaser Smudger. Ihiekwe I've said he's been player of this season. I'm not massive on Crooks or Ladapo not for the championship. I'd get shut of Vassell Price Jones Clarke McDonald.

I've been reading this forum for a long time before joining and you wrote off Olosunde after one pre season friendly.

Edit* https://www.millersbanter.co.uk/t65736816/tonight/

Just a couple of choice gwru quotes from after the first home friendly last july:

Still haven't got a Right back. Olsunde couldn't tackle or get forward.

I would never sign players who have no experience of 1st team football in whatever level of the EFL or competitive league football. Olsunde it's like starting from basics. He can't tackle at all, going forward he's no idea.

gru is the chosen one. He weren't much good at football. But he goes to home games, mean all. That is all you you need to become a football sage.

realmiller Olosunde that was 1st time I saw him. He changed my mind for me. As I said play 4-5-1 will take pressure off the defence.

If you are going to lambast someone it might be polite to spell their name correctly.
