Southend will be fielding a team with an average age under 21. If we can't win this one if the rest of the season is cancelled it will be a relief.

Cheltenham Festival still gone ahead. Up to 60,000 punters have attended that event daily. No talk of postponing the game against Southend at Millers HQ. Virus expected to peak in 10 to 14 weeks time according to official Government sources. That spells disaster for many around the World. I'm still wondering why the Coronavirus discussion started by Glenn Miller was moved to the OT Discussion side of this site when most everyone is talking about the virus? Eventually the virus will touch all our lives whether directly or indirectly.

Anyone for Summer football fixtures?

Emergency EFL board meeting this morning.

Few journalists reporting to expect a suspension of the season.

EFL are having a meeting about it I would not be surprised if matches we're cancelled.

That's it then, no footie until 3rd April at the earliest. Might as well finish the season now and promote top 3 clubs.

Who would have thought it? No professional football for at least three weeks.

There's always the horseracing. Cheltenham Gold Cup today. Then there may be a review of future race meetings perhaps?
