The reason i say it Gwru is for me Vassell makes very little contribution there. Up top he has been effective and scored goals. My team today would be

Iversen
Olosunde Ihiekwe Wood Mattock
Ogbene Lindsay Crooks Wiles.
Smith Vassell.

I also accept Wiles is not ideal on the left but he has stated he will play anywhere. I also believe when he has played wide left he has done a job, as has Adelakun. If its not working i would bring on Koroma as it would be ideal for him to come on in a home game and show his worth now presumably he is fit. Still expecting a very tough game today. Mk are in a false position. They have had a lot of injuries this season and now with just about a full and fit squad the results are turning around.

whiston01 I'd be happy enough with side you've gone with. I want Lindsay given a fair chance.

So you have no place for the clubs top scorer then ??

Lindsey played well to say he hasn't played any games for months, Crooks wasn't at his best. Overall we are failing to take our chances, 3 draws out of 4 games and only one of them against a top team. We have lost the lead in all those 4 games and that is a concern our set pieces were poor as well. Smith had 3 headers within 8 yards of the goal all of them free headers and only got one on target and that o e he should be heading the ball down. He misses far too any chances however Freddie's miss summed up our day, it was a shocking miss. I think we need to get our win ratio back to how it was to stand a chance of a top two, I think 4th looks a likely finish but you never know. We are not a bad side but not sure we are quite good enough to pip Sunderland, Coventry, Portsmouth and Peterborough in the end. UTM

Lindsay his pass for our goal. Needs games to get up to total match speed. What else can we do. The cupboard is bare. Wide left we didn't put it right in the transfer window so as they say you reap what you sow. Koroma same as Adelakun. Thought Warney said he'll only bring players in that will improve us. They haven't.

Missed our chance in the last transfer window he has to play Wiles on the left no one else I could not fault him one of our better players today.

Nothing up with the performance but if we want to win the league we need to be ruthless in every game. The standard of finishing today was so poor and that’s not just from Ladapo but the whole team in general today.

If we want to achieve our goal we can’t keep having 20 odd attempts at goal and not taking all three points.

Lindsay had a very good game and so did Ogbene. Not sure on Koroma at all, is he any better than what Lamy was?

Difficult to be critical of the players today because for about the 5th consecutive game we had dreadful windy conditions which makes good football very difficult. MK Dons looked dangerous every time they put the long ball forward because it was 50-50 where the wind would blow it - so it was a good tactic for them. Olosunde didn't master the conditions at all and with hindsight we would have been better off with Thompson at right back who would have been stronger in the air. Ogbene was superb and ran their LB ragged. His balls into the box were quality until the final 5 minutes. I thought Lindsay did OK and Crooks improved as the game went on. Iverson was brilliant and made two quality saves in the second half to keep us in it. The glaring misses from Smudge and Freddie just summed up our day - so close but no cigar.

Fortunately the other results went for us today so not much damage done. Hopefully for the next two games, which you would have to fancy our chances in, the wind will have subsided and our quality will shine through.

Onwards and upwards.

I thought we played quite well in what was an entertaining game in difficult conditions. We got a late winner at Accrington that we just about deserved. Today we deserved to win comfortably, but to state the blindingly obvious you have to put the ball in the net. We missed a couple of sitters, a few decent half chances and wasted some good opportunities. We generally do score plenty of goals so there is no need to panic, and today certainly shouldn't be taken as an opportunity to start pointing fingers and playing the blame game. As usual the players gave what they have got. We couldn't have done much more other than be more clinical when the chances came, but nobody misses them on purpose. Looking at the table as it is, if you had offered me that at the start of the season I would have snatched your hand off. Its still all up for grabs. Keep smiling.

Just to answer Gazmadmiller. 'So you have no place for the clubs top scorer then'. Today i would have had him on the bench, mainly because Vassell can close down better and stop them passing it out from the back. Also Ladapo has been effective coming on as sub and has scored a fair few when he has come on. It's all about using your squad for certain situations. Today he scored a good goal although i would question their goalie letting one in at the near post.

I thought Lindsay did well and as Glenn said Crooks improved as the game went on. Ogbene is a real handful and has pace to beat most full backs. His crossing was good until the last ten minutes as has been said. Apparently we had 17 shots at goal but only 3 on target. Smith had three good chances but failed to delver. As i have said many times he is not a natural finisher. Mk Dons as i thought were much better than their league position suggests. I thought they just about shaded the first half but for some reason appeared to want to hold on to 1-1 in the second half. They had a big chance on around 90 minutes to win the game but Iversen stopped the chance with his legs. Rhys Healey in the first half was as good as any opponent i have seen this season. The quality he showed on the goal was worth the admission fee alone. He turned Olosunde inside out and finished with aplomb. Not the end of the world but a game we should have won on chances alone. I think the three big home games against Pompy, Donny and Sunderland will have the biggest say on where we finish.

Since they often get stick, I just wanted to say that I thought the referee did very well today.

C regards Lamy that's Warney believing his own hype that comes from the brainwashed Warney boys you can't escape them. Lamy was fit just coming through. I'm not saying he was anything other than having potential but the two he's got in Adelakun & Koroma to me pointless loan signings. We've got a recruitment team couldn't we have got one permanent signing that's going to improve the side.

Not sure there is evidence that Lamy is ready for third tier football. Today Wimbledon won 2-1 but Lamy didn't start or come off the bench. Adelakun is very steady when he plays wide left, nothing spectacular but holds his position well. It's too early to say whether Koroma is a pointless signing. He offers something different to Adelakun and his time might come in last ten games.

whiston01 Adelakun I can't see nothing in totally right sided player on the left. Bristol city had given up on him. Koroma looks like a youth player to me, your saying Lamy doesn't look ready for league 1 Koroma looks nowhere near ready.

I know I shouldn't be surprised but I'm amazed how negative people can be, and how quick people are to be critical and play the blame game. We are still in a great place with ten games to go. We have lost once in the last big number of games. It isn't as if we played badly today.

Koroma has played a grand total of about thirty minutes of football for us so far, and he has already been written off. At least he got thirty minutes more than Tilt before he met his fate. Whether he is better than Lamy or not I don't know or frankly care - he is here playing for us so get behind the kid.

I heard a caller to 606 on Radio 5 tonight slagging Klopp off for not buying a better partner for Van Dijk and saying they would have gone unbeaten in the league if Klopp had done a better job, so I guess it might be true that some people are never happy. But for goodness sake we are still going very well. Give the moaning and constant carping a break.

I suspect the 606 call was a fake they do set them up you know. You are correct smiler we are doing well and dismissing players before they get a run of games makes little or no sense. I do think that people are aloud to comment on a game or a few observations they have that is the point of a board like this.

I wasn’t criticising Koroma, but based on the limited game time he and Lamy have had I haven’t seen all that much difference between the two but happy to be proved wrong.

The reason we are frustrated today (and other days) is because we make a shed load of chances and realistically could win 5-1 every week. Haven't seen stats but we had a ton of corners and free kicks and other solid opportunities today. Smith really was wasteful with those headers today and it's a consistent fault. Freddie's miss, well it's got its own thread... 😃

Opinions - great. Knee jerk criticism after we drew a game we dominated - predictable but not really justified. Things like 'never been a manager' - trolling.
