Barlaser off on a stretcher. Regardless of the result, that's the last thing we needed. Hope its not as bad as it sounds. By the way, **** off gwru.

Something's not right there. Barlaser injured to be replaced by McDonald. Lindsay I'd like to what he's done wrong.

smiler your another, brainwashed. TC I've seen enough this season to know what works for us. Adelakun doesn't he's just took a corner over the top of everyone.

Anyone who starts swearing has lost any point they are trying to make. Decent point I reckon that's what we went for we didn't have a shot in the 2nd half. The next few games coming up time to push on.

Excellent point. Well done PW and the boys. Pity about Barlaser. Time for Wiles to step up. Hoping the game on Saturday will be a confident and comfortable victory - we and the team are due one.

Onwards and upwards.

That was a very good point at a crucial time of the season. Exactly 75% of the way through now and we know it is totally in our own hands win all 11 and we go up. Loss of barlaser is a huge blow that guy has been class and Newcastle have had top scouts watching him and according to their local media giving glowing reports. PW says Macdonald is a hell of a player well he may get his chance now, I think we have good midfielders and making them fight for the shirt is not a bad thing. I have been impressed with PW recent interviews and he seems to have matured a little into the role.

You cant reason with him and you cant talk sense to him.  Well you can but he doesn't listen.

Battling for a result away at a top team and all he can do is criticise and moan.  Got my goat.

We went to win it.  We played two up front and started quickly, and by all accounts dominated the first half.  Coventry are clearly a decent side though and they were always going to have their moments.  Putting Adelukan on for Wiles was a positive change and we finished with two up front as well.

I dont think there is a single game this season in which we have played for a point.  Although we will be happy with a draw, I dont think that is what we went for and tried to get.

The Barlaser injury is a worry.

Wiles & Crooks together won't work. Got to be Lindsay sounded involved when he came on. Home game get Koroma up to speed.

smiler I'm trying to be constructive. I just can't see Adelakun giving us anything. Same with McDonald.

Adelakun on the left doesn't seem to work however the lad is talented maybe central role may better suit. MacDonald is highly thought of but he is a sitting midfielder at Donny for 60 mins he controlled the game, got injured and they took over, so perhaps we should give all the players a chance, even mattock and that grinds on me to say that

Yes i hope barlaser recovers quickly

in regards last night match i could see why adelakun came on for wiles, it didnt work as his crossing from what ronnie was saying was awful.

I was happy with the point, next 3 games we got to coming away with a minimum of 7 points rochdale away will be tricky

If ever that old cliche 'a game of two halves' got it right it was about last nights game. We were easily the best side in the first half and they struggled to contain our power and aggression. A gift from the goalie for our goal but then he makes a great save to stop it from going 2-0, which would have been a fair reflection of our dominance in the first half.

Then in the second half they get the early goal and they start winning second balls and got on the front foot. O'hare was causing us problems and we were on the back foot. Our strong support was quiet and wishing for the final whistle. In added time Godden had a great chance to win the game but headed wide. Credit to our defence for limiting them chances and solid games from all the back four (yes the much maligned Mattock played well). Our midfield which had control in the first half was having little impact. Wiles went off after an hour or so and Adelakun came on, this helped us a bit defensively but we were on the back foot. Barlaser went off with what was said to be an ankle injury. McDonald came on for him and had little effect. He is neat and gets a foot in but for me he just lacks that bit of composure and pace. Perhaps Lindsay will be given his chance if Barlaser is out.

A good point against a decent team. i have said this before. There was not much quality on show from either team, but you cannot knock the effort from both sides.

Would have taken a point before kick off, very good result and had to battle at times but it shows the vast improvement from before Christmas not just in quality but the mentality as well.

Disagree about lack of quality, I thought both showed good bits of football as well as battling. Barlaser pinged on to the wing that wouldn’t have looked out of place if David Silva tried it.

All fair comment C. No doubt about it Barlaser has got that bit of class about him and will be sorely missed if he is out any length of time. Ogbene has got the pace to worry most teams, but in the second half we didn't appear to have that belief to carry on as we had been doing. Credit to Coventry for their performance in the second half but for me the quality from both teams was just that bit lacking. It was more in flashes . As you said a very good result.
