Wiles in for Adelukan for me. He will be fresher and he did well when he came on at Accy. I'd keep Vassell in alongside Smith. Ladapo is doing well coming on but Vassell isnt doing a lot wrong. Coventry insist on messing about with the ball at the back. It's how they play and they stick with it and apparently they get results doing it. I just think the physicality of Vassell working with Smith to harry them might pay off. But it's an either or between Vassell and Ladapo. I hope we dont change the formation. Let them worry about us and have a go and see what happens.

We do agree Adelakun needs replacing but if it's with Wiles I'm glad I'm not there. If Koroma isn't ready I'd switch Ogbene to the left bring Lindsay into a midfield 3. If you had to press me I'd start with Ladapo for Vassell.

I dont think Adelukan needs replacing. I would just give Wiles a go there tomorrow. Just a personal gut feeling. I thought he looked very sharp on Saturday when he came on. If Adelukan plays I will be fine with it though. I quite like him. We are getting good contributions from subs whoever starts and I think we have a strength in depth that is better than most in this league.

He will just start with the same team as Saturday surely, played away at a team doing well and won the game. There is a rhythm in the team now and Vas/Smith etc know they will get 70 mins to go mad and Freddie will get 20 to make an impact. We just need to watch the DVD of the last match and repeat that performance! 😃

See whose right tonight tea boys or me. I want something abit stronger. Games like tonight & there's more to come we need to tough it out. No weak links like Adelakun. Need a ball winner in midfield. Lindsay got to start for me in a midfield 3.

Gwru you do this every time we have a difficult game.  You suggest something and predict that we will lose unless Warne does what you suggest.

What will happen now is that if we win or draw you will not admit that Warne got it right - instead you will say we were at 75% or lucky or that Coventry were garbage.  If we lose you will claim to be the font of all wisdom, even though there is no telling what would have happened if we had gone with your ideas (we might have lost more heavily).  It really is idiotic, very boring and very predictable.

You will be hoping we lose just so that you can cry a fake 'told you so'.  Obviously you can't resist a quick tea reference while you are about it.

This should be all about the team we all (claim to) support doing well, but for you it is just all about you.  Pathetic.

We're in a great position. I've said I want us to go up automatic. We haven't been convincingly recently. Top of the league clash. We aren't a footballing side. Direct that's our game. Need battlers. No way would I start with Adelakun. Lindsay as I keep saying a game for him. If you start with Ladapo don't expect anything else other that goal poaching. But Warney will hardly change it. See whose right.

Gwru, try and understand this.

If you predict a result, you can be proven right or wrong. For example, I think it might be a draw tonight. I will either get that right, or I will get it wrong. There will be no doubt either way.

What you can't do is say 'We will lose unless we do xyz - see if I am right'. We may well lose, but unless Warne plays with five in midfield including Jamie Lindsay, we will never, ever know what would have happened if he had done. You being proven right would need the match to be played for a second time in a parallel universe with us going with your team selection, to see if we win in that world or not.

So, predict the result if you like and yes we can see whether you get it right or not. But do not assume that we would have won if we had done what you said, because (although it has actually been proven that you generally far more wrong than you get right) we can never know that.

Do you see?

smiler all I'm predicting if we go with near enough the same side as Saturday it makes our chances of getting anything tonight harder. I could be totally wrong Coventry might not be on their game but there's got to be a side in this league before season is out who are on their game.

So the only reason that the Millers are sitting at the top of League 1 is that not one side that we have played so far this season have been on their game. I know that the last time that you played football was in PE at school, but surely, as the layman that you are, you realise that a game of football involves two teams. Maybe, just maybe, the Millers are a good team and, as such, the opposition hasn't been allowed to turn up. But, of course, you could never admit to that being that being the case since it would imply that your nemesis Paul Warne is doing a good job. You are a layman, you always have been, and always will be, but you have, for some strange reason got it into your fantasy football head that you are some sort of genius who knows more about the game than professionals with many years of involvement within the game. Grow up.

It isn't make or break tonight and it won't be doom and gloom if we were to lose it. After today our next three games are at home to MK Dons, away at Rochdale and at home to Southend. It is quite possible that we could lose tonight and still end up with six, seven or even nine points from the four games combined, which I am guessing would leave us still well placed. Having said that, I think we are well capable of getting something later.

Any team that averages two points per game and ends the season with 88 pts will more than likely be in the top two. We are top at the minute with an average just below that mark.

Sunderland v Fleetwood also tonight, and then Coventry play Sunderland on Saturday. Everyone including us will drop points at some stage.

Its great to be involved at the right end of the table.

Really difficult to predict this one because both sides are on such good runs at the moment. Coventry have won their last five and we have won 4 drawn 1. However, Rotherham's away form is second best to Liverpool across all leagues. Coventry will have the added incentive of wanting revenge for the 4-0 drubbing at NYS but if they continue to try and play it out from the back, they will present us with opportunities because they're not very good at it. The venue will give no advantage to either side as it's a neutral ground. With two well matched sides, the result could well depend on how effective either team are in front of goal. Based on the goal threat we pose from a range of players, I'm going for a win for the Millers. A draw would be a great result and a defeat wouldn't be a disaster. Happy days.

Having reached my personal positive meniscus of frustration with gwru's comments, I'll quote a decent poster from the MM site - 'Every comment gwru makes is for a reaction. He's prob sat Infront of his laptop with his pants on his head chuckling away to himself.
Sad. Pathetic, lonely. Any or all of the above'. I rest my case y'honor!

GlennMiller who said that is like most on here brainwashed Warney boys without a mind of his/their own so it's like water off a ducks back to me. I thought you was better than repeating nonsense like that but whatever rocks your boat. UTM for tonight all those who are going as a steward I knew on the way to the NYS used to say to me come back smiling.

I hope we win tonight but I can't see us getting anything. If Warney starts with No 14 no chance poor old left back on his own again we will not get away with that one. That left hand side has never been resolved all season winning all of those games doesn't wash with me I want to see a balanced team. As someone who has at least a minimum of 1,500 games look as if I will with a bit of luck I could reach 2,000 I know what I am talking about.

At 23 home league games per season, it would take 87 years to reach 2000. The Millers must have played a sh*tload of home cup games.

A tip for the future. Engage brain before typing.
