Chansiri went all in with big prices, up front season tickets and massive contracts for players and gambled it all on getting promotion inside two seasons. They got close twice but got found out. Now they are saddled with the same high prices, a team full of egotists on big money who they cant shift, and a dilapidated stadium. To make matters worse, they had to bend the rules (at best) to get out of trouble and might get found out. It is difficult to see where they go from here. It might get worse for them before it gets better. I do feel for the supporters, but many of them were happy to sign up with Chansiri and get on board and to that extent they are the authors of their own misfortune. There are plenty of other clubs in a similar state. We have been there before on a smaller scale. Thank God we are where we are now.
