He could be sold in this transfer window we haven't a clue what is going on as far as that situation is happening. If Newcastle wants their player back we can't have any complaints just got to hope it doesn't happen.

Highly unlikely to have made the phenomenal progress at Swindon that would have made him remotely ready for Lge 1/Championship level. Really hope he's come back to be sold.

...you would think either that or Swindon taking **** on fees or something like that. With Smith, Vassell and Freddy all scoring well, can't see he's brought him back to play ahead of any of those 3 ??
Nice one . Rainbow, the kids TV programme that is. we used to have to record it on the VHS recorder every daY for my elder son. He'd watch it,and as soon as it finished he'd start shouting "again....again". I had a deep seated hatred of Zippy, George, Bungle, Geoffrey, and Rod Jane and Freddy. Did my crust in.
Totally OT I know, but continuing the Rainbow theme, I went to a concert at Sheffield Uni in the 70s at which Graham Bonnet was totally off his head and stumbled off the stage leaving Michael Schenker to play the entire gig by himself with no vocals.
Now back to Gerry Yates. I suggest he's been brought back as a precursor to moving him on for a fee. Can't imagine he would challenge to get in the current set up.
Not been confirmed but Vassell could be out for a few games so it's time to back Yates. His family is not happy about him coming back especially his mother according to twitter I will take that with a pinch of salt if it is true they might think he has not had a fair crack of the whip at the millers. If he is used in any matches I will back him he is one of our young players who have come through the ranks anyone who does not is being a bit mardy.
The word is that Vassell might have picked up an injury. You always get hard work out of Yates and he seems to have developed a goalscoring habit albeit in league two. No problem with it. I am not sure he is a long term answer and I wouldn't be surprised if he is back at Swindon before the end of the month. I think if he plays for us he couldnt play for a third league club this season but I'm not 100% sure on that.
If you can't support our younger players time to pack up. I will be interested to see if this loan period has given him the game time he has needed show us what we have been missing.

Yes Brad, but if he played for us this weekend, could he then play for a third league club this season afterwards? If not, we wont be loaning or selling him to anybody apart from back to Swindon.
Hope it's to sell him because he's never clicked for us and just didn't look strong enough. Fair play to him for going out and making a go of it - apparently the other club he went to (Carlyle?) were very impressed with him too. Hope we can get a few quid for him.
