My take of the season so far

When we got relegated, despite a more valiant attempt to stay in championship, we didn't dishonour ourselves as a team or club.

With the money from the sale of vaulks and Ajayi. I thought would give us a good automatic promotion push budget.

Preseason started well and the incoming players were met with some scepticism, ladapo record signing seemed good buy, barlaser came with good reviews, we replaced Rodak with a decent goalie in Iverson.

Warne went with an attacking formation 4 3 3, straight away it was obvious that despite warne comment to the contrary, most fans could see that playing smith out wide wasn't working.

The home form suffered, yet we kept the results good away from home.

Eventually, Warne saw the light and started playing two up front playing with wingers in although he still kept starting with one winger.

Roll forward in time we are now a side that. Is full of confidence, and playing as a team. Credit to warne and barker.

I admit and hold my hands up and admit that when i said in October and November that it was only our away form that was keeping him in a job.

I love been corrected we are top of the league.

Going towards the end of the season, unless we lose a striker to a long injury or sell a player I wouldn't replace morris with another loan signing I would keep Kayode in the match squad,  get another a player who can play defensive midfielder and centre back. that's my opinion.

If we do get promoted then tony will need to spend

I agree a with you a defensive player needed who can cover those 2 positions. Kayode should be the 4th striker he might be ready to come through we should be good to go. If we do push on a bit what about the Rotherham public filling the stadium if they did it might persuade the chairman to put some more money in.

I'd agree with that HM, except I'd like also another full-back for cover.

I'd also say if we are lucky enough to go up, yes we'll need 4 or 5 extra players, but I think we'd be starting with a good core team (better than last promotion)
