What I saw on Saturday it was empty Vassell year and a half nearly into his contract not one goal in the league what about a bit of pay back today. Dreading 2pm when the team news comes out with our half fit squad today.

His free kick v Fleetwood as a poor as any have seen. The flattering comments that warne made about vassell has Warne sound a like a fool. The one i am referring to is the one where he.said vassell surprises defenders with his speed and touch. ???????? Has any banter alumni seen this. I know players always have a touch of marmite about them with fans. But vassell, blackstock withstanding has to rank as one of the worst aquistions we have had on our books.

I agree Vassell needs to prove us wrong as he's not adding anything just now, I'd say same about Barlaser , Hastie (who I thought was going to be great but seems like he's already gone back North), and Clarke, though he's young enough to get better.

I guess we'll play whoever's fit today, I'd take a point now!

I would love to seem him prove his doubters wrong. Hastie hasn't been allowed to hold down his.place as Warne doesn't know how to use wingers. Besides Warne has to accommodate his favourites

Problem I've got with Warney. Clarke Vassell who I just don't rate both on bench no Lamy. Can't work out formation with 3 centre backs starting. I don't like playing with wing backs.

In my opinion he deserves the pressure as he continues this blinkered approach Maybe Tony is thinking same

Gents, can we at least save the moaning and criticism until after weve seen who starts where etc (never mind waiting to see what the result is). With that line up it could be three centre backs and two wing backs, it could be 442 (Thompson at right back and Olosunde right side midfield), or any number of possible different formations. Youve got no idea how we are going to line up nor who is or isnt actually available for selection. How about something like 'good luck to the lads - here's hoping for a good performance and the right result' instead of trashing them half an hour before kick off. I thought that is what supporters did - or is that too much to ask?

Doing same that's not worked all season. Olosunde he's a right back. Mattock he's a left back when he's right. Keep it simple. Play players in their correct position.

The problem with slagging the manager and team off half an hour before kick off is that you risk looking a proper t**t if they go on and dominate the other team and get an away win.

How difficult would it be for the previous detractors to say well done to the team for a great win? It just doesn't seem that some people want us to be successful?!!

Pleased for the win but only seen brief highlights. Looked like we should have had a penalty. Freddie went close twice. Olosunde lost his man, they had the chance to take the lead. Can see Warney's dilemma. We need two up front playing Ladapo there. Three in midfield, one wide man. But Olosunde further forward isn't the answer. Thompson can play right back. Lindsay can play right side of midfield. Lamy should be on the bench before Clarke or Vassell. Will we ever seen Hinds?

So Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar had come to the conclusion by 2.30 pm on a boxing day afternoon that the millers were doomed, dreading the team news and our manager deserving all the pressure he gets from his blinkered views and his 4.3.3 formation that never works. With the star shining bright on the New meadow so the three can see what is going on from over 100 miles away and not forgetting that the thousand who go, who just go to get lagged up and cause trouble, the game begins.

What's this, Warne has selected a left sided wing back/left back who has played over 350 league games in preference to a 20 yr old who has played 5 for Frickley, 4 for Hyde and 5 for Bradford p.A.. Get Hinds in comes the cry from Caspar. Oh no he isn't playing Lamy, another 20 yr old with 1 league game and 2 EFL cup games. These are soft sides we are up against. I know this lad has it cries Caspar.

The game is, i think, being played mostly in the Shrewsbury half with Rotherham in the ascendancy. Not too many chances created, but Morris going close and half chances created. At half time we go in a bit disappointed we are not at least one up, but the only aspect to worry about from the Shrews is how physical they are. Surely Lamy and Hinds would have done the biz with all these big physical players up against them. I know lets wait for the three wise men to comment with the star still shining bright on the New Meadow. Oh, hold on a minute they are waiting for extended highlights later on, so its's up to us drunken sods to pass on an opinion first.

We start in a similar vein in the second half and get a headed goal from a player who should be nowhere near the team. He has been rubbish all season. Our goalie still hasn't had a save to make. This alters a few minutes later when the Shrews equalise from a well worked free kick, again. We are not as good in this half, and it is becoming a physical, scrappy affair. Smith is brought on with a few minutes to go and there he is on added, added time heading a brilliant winner from a cross by Thompson who was much better today. That's my take on it. Don't believe what i say. Wait while Caspar and co tell you what happened. Up to 5th and two points off second. Get that Warne sacked he is clueless. That Barker knows nothing about tactics. Can i become one of the wise men please. UTM.

I get criticised for hogging this site where are the top men quiet as a mouse. When we have a good result I come straight on here and say so. If the million pound a year men on sky get it wrong what chance do I have. I am looking forward to the next game for a change a couple of good home games I might might change my name to Mr Brightside.

Melchior, have you been on the mulled wine ? I do not follow what you are getting at. You are well entitled like everybody else to have an opinion. Who are these million pound a year sky men? I am glad you are looking forward to the next game instead of dreading 2pm when the team news comes out. You know what i would really like though. Is come 17.00 hrs on Sunday you are still backing the team, the manager and his staff whatever the result is. You will probably have heard from the boring Caspar by then though and you will revert to negativity. Here's hoping for a positive change.
