That's right you two. Warne doesn't want us to win and is deliberately making bad decisions because he would rather be a nice guy than try and get us promoted and further his career.

No good signing these injured players this player from Bristol City if he signs. This is what Bill Shankly used to say to Tommy Smith " they have a forward who has got a dodgy ankle I think we had better test it out Tommy" how long will he last in this league. I am hoping Donny nip in and get him.

.. I thought our Summer signings worked out pretty well on the whole, so I have a bit more faith in who we bring in.

I'm more concerned about the need for defenders, as others have said.

Still time though.

I have no control over transfer policy so I do not lose any sleep over it. You I either believe the management team do the best they can for the club and supporters or you do not.

That kind of attitude will get you nowhere on this site! Where's the conspiracy, where's the mates theory, where's the obsessive repetition? Come on Iwasatvillapark, shape up or ship out!

Adelakun signed until end of season. The plan's coming together - Morris out and a replacement in who will give us a bit more flexibility and hopefully goals. £500K for Vassell and a permanent CB in and the job's a good 'un!!

Welcome Hakeeb and please ignore any criticism you will inevitably receive before you have kicked a ball - this is Rotherham!!

Onwards and upwards.

Had a bad injury, hopefully he’s over it because he looked a good player at Scunny.

Agree about the flexibility, Morris was a waste if we continued to use him out of position, Adelakun is a natural wide player.

Hope he does well.

I will give my detailed report on this new player after the next home game if he is not injured. Half a million for Vassell 2 league goals in 18 months you have been eating too many rice krispies. I know I am not always the sharpest tool in the box aren't we a little bit thin on the ground defence wise. A defender was top priority hope we don't get battered against Oxford.

Give new loan signing a chance. Hope they've done all the tests on his ankle in his medical before signing. If we are going to start with 2 wingers especially away going to have to go back to the 4-5-1 formation.

Sir Alf Ramsey won the World Cup without any wingers.

I wish I could have made detailed assessments of players on one viewing I would have made a fortune. People have different opinions of players, eg I am not convinced by Freddie Lapado but I have not written him off, he could still be one hell of a player.

Experienced players come with histories of injuries but in the case of Shaun McDonald he was to good a player to turn down. Unfortunately, it seems his playing days may be numbered.

On transfers they are all a gamble some work out some don’t. If they all did you would have 23 teams on equal points.

Adelakun frightened me to death when he played for Scunny against us, and a Championship club in Bristol City went in for him. He is big and strong and no slouch. He adds something to the squad. He also has plenty yet to prove so he wont be coming here just to pass the time away.  Good luck to him. I don't see him as a replacement for Morris, although Morris was asked to play wide sometimes. I think another striker will be incoming during this window.

We have a striker coming in Kayode been some very good reports while he has been out on loan. Time to give him a try.

He also won it without the use of the Worlds greatest inside left at that time, Jimmy Greaves (sometimes wore the No.8 shirt but effective in either case) and sat the whole '66 final on the bench. I remember it well.

I like what they have done with Kayode. By all accounts he has done well but it was in the sixth tier of football and there is a gulf between that and League One. Warne says they are going to assess him in training with the first team. If they think he is up to it he might feature in the first team squad. If not he might go out loan again, maybe at a higher level than Gateshead play at. Seems sensible to me. Let them do their job and trust them to do the right thing by the club and the player.

I would like to see some young players come through the ranks. What is the point in having the academy new training facilities if we can't bring any of these players through. This latest signing if he is still knackered waste of time or as the learned gentleman on this site reckon he is the best thing since sliced bread. He will only use it as a stepping stone to get himself a good contract in the summer. I will keep banging on about it get the young un's in and if they are really good worth a Bob or two. Anyway the kayode kid is coming back I am more excited about that watch this space.

I didn't see much against Hull up front or out wide apart from Ogbene but his crossing was all over the place. Smith looks to be running on empty. Vassell apart from his goal I didn't see much else & Ladapo he's just a goal poacher if chances are there. Kayode hope he's progressed out on loan save us a signing if he has.
