JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW - FILL YOUR BOOTS

Reports that we are to sign Hakeeb Adelakun on loan from Bristol City... winger back from an injury and not in BC side.

Benefit of doubt and all that but we need defenders please.

can't really see sense in that one unless he's been brought in to play more central midfield, and assuming Hastie is staying and Ogbene is not being sold..

His goal for S****horpe:

Son knows a Bristol City supporter who says he's not very good - major ankle surgery finished him.

An update to our possible new signing could lead to a permanent deal. Sounds right for dead legs united.

I bet Brissie C are p*ss*ng themselves! We took Vyner who was next to useless off them now a croc! Sick bay is waiting. We are waisting time on a winger when we have enough & only play one anyway when we only have 3 1st team defenders available for Saturday. Warney must be a visionary cause he's seeing things most can't see.

You're writing players off before we've even signed them. Your hero JCH had major surgery and is currently in the best form of his career. Why can't the lad from Bristol City still be a good player? Do you not think that we carry out medicals on players before we sign them? Second in the league but its still a constant stream of ill informed moaning for the sake of moaning. It's as boring as hell.

Stole my thunder smiler; I was about to say that if, as gwru states "Warney must be a visionary cause he's seeing things most can't see. "
Then someone needs to takes the blinkers off because as far as I can see we're sitting nicely in second place up to just, so he aint doing too bad and thats without the luxury of having JCH and Hinds gracing our field of play.

He's played 5 games since start of last season. He's not our player why waste time & money on him. Only thing I can think of Mcdonald will be lonely in the sick bay when Jones comes out of contract end of this season. Lamy should go he's no chance of playing under Warney, I hate to see talent our talent not given a chance.

Gwru, do you acknowledge that Warne and his team are better qualified and better placed than you to make these decisions? They work with Hinds and Lamy every day. You've seen them once or twice and with the greatest respect are a layman like most of us. We all have opinions, but you assert the same ones several times a day with such certainty that you come across as delusional.

The christmas treatment is over. The straight jackets have come off and they have opened the asylums doors. What is the prognosis Nurse Ratched?. ' We can do nothing with them'

These eyes of mine don't lie. I know what I've seen. One big positive from last two games Olosunde he's toughened up into a proper player now. Ihiewke I know I wrote him off but he's proved me wrong been nothing short outstanding all season. Weren't fussed about Morris. Our other 3 strikers + 1 hopefully will be good enough for this league. Don't rate Clarke & Hastie. Since he 1st came on as sub nearly a year ago Crooks never looked like an athlete never mind a footballer to me, that opinion hasn't changed. Why is Hinds still here? if he wasn't good enough he should have been gone by now. Lamy there's talent there, but it won't come through playing reserve football, he'll have to move on some other club will get the benefit of that.

I must apologise for my last post. I now realise it could be seen as trivialising the very important subject of mental health. I wasn't trying to do that at all. I was trying to show how ridiculous some of the posts on here are. To use a character from one flew over the cuckoos nest was very poor form. Please accept my apologies. If people feel i need to be barred i will accept that punishment. Again sorry.

In other words Gwru, you really do think that you are better placed and better qualified than the management team. Incredible. You really are deluded.

The one who uses the mantra "pick the team on merit" would in fact pick his team based on age. Anyone over 30, get rid, anyone aged 19-21, get them in the team every week. Either play them or get rid. Hinds and Lamy both turned 20 in November. The main thing that players of their age lack is consistency of performance. They are at the club because they have potential. Is it time to release that potential? Warne and Barker are in an infinitely better position to judge than you or I. And I almost forgot. Any 19 year old playing for Gateshead on loan and scoring a goal or two in the sixth tier of English football, should be immediately recalled and be a regular in the third tier, because clearly he is more than good enough, although in Kayodes case you "don't know what you've seen", unless of course you have been moonlighting to the north east every week

Kayode he's being recalled back from his loan. He came on in could have been same game as Lamy 2nd H showed ability against Donny micky mouse cup some might say but puts players on view. Kayode looked to have size about him, mobile. I rated him.

TC some players like Wood, Arnason before him are/were good enough playing into their 30's but they were our players we knew what they're about. I don't know who does medicals at our club but Potter, Jones & Mcdonald were/are injured more than playing in their contracts with us. Now we are on about taking a risk on a 23 yr old whose only played 5 games in last 2 seasons.

Are we becoming a home for the waifs and strays another player keeps popping up Ben Marshall released by Norwich not played all season. Get the young players in not these limping Lucy's the kids are alright bring Cooper back Kayode get Lamy in the team. If we sign these players we are a agents dream they will be thinking I know where to send my rejects to the merry millers they will take anything I give them.

Agree TH these agents will be thinking Warney he's a good guy he'll give a player a good home even taking a risk on their fitness.
